Conveniently located near the mall and right next to Home Depot. Bed Bath & Beyond is never really a great value, even with their coupons, but they have a reliable selection of merchandise. I was able to find the small fans I had looked all over for very quickly in BB&B. Easy check out. I had no problem using their coupon. If you're on their mailing list you get some decent coupons periodically for 20% off or $10 off purchase of $30. All their prices are elevated, but with the coupons, it's not so bad for hard to find things. Lot parking is somewhat shared with Home Depot so watch out for large trucks and folks with oversized loads. read more

It is is a new day at BB&B. The shopper gets to pay exorbitant prices for the merchandise AND check themself out! If the items are mismarked, you have to get one of the few staff to come check out the discrepancy. The discrepancy in this case, they advertised in-store, in writing, and show on the large sign next to a display a set of Essential Home aluminum pots/pans a 12 piece boxed set for $ 27.99. There were at least 12 boxes at the display. At the register it rang up for $45. When one of the staff came over, after the rosaming check out assistant called her, she said that $45 was the correct price. I walked her to the display, she scanned one of the boxes and the written/posted ad, turned to me and said that the skews did not match. Off we went to find a manager who promptly said that the advertised item was not what is on display and not available except to order and ship. What was on the floor and what we had selected was at full price. The ESSENTIAL pots/pans that was on sale could be ordered. I asked why the sign was there, if it did not relate the the product that it was with? It was a clear BAIT AND SWITCH. BAD PRACTICE BED BATH AND BEYOND. Seems like unfair and dishonest treatment of your customers. I told one of the staff to VOID the rest of my merchandise which already totalled $260 and left the store. I went to TARGET instead. This store used to understand customer service. Those days are gone. Asking for help the workers act like they are doing you a favor. For some reason they have installed only self serve registers. Personally I don't work for them and I am also disabled. When I asked for the clerk to check me out she told me only if I was paying cash. When she finally agreed she was quite rude and obviously put out that I asked for the service I'm paying for. To top that off the selection has become very limited and there are many empty spots on the shelves. I was shopping for bed linens and my choices were limited to cheap polyester sheets or $150 plus sheet sets. read more

So...I know there's nothing that can be done to correct the situation I'm writing about, but I want to let other consumers know what happened to save them from the same frustration. I purchased a bedding set at the Hyannis store several years ago. It was to be used to stage our cottage on the Cape for sale. Fortunately and unfortunately, before I could get the staging done, the cottage sold. The sale was very fortunate, not checking the bedding package wasn't. I never had to open the package that the bedding set came in and because we were moving into a new house with a lot more space, I still didn't need to open the bedding until we were setting up our guest room, which wasn't until today. I worried that the contents of the package might have been destroyed by waiting so long to use it, but I never imagined that the set, which was supposed to be 1 comforter, 1 fitted sheet, 1 flat sheet, and 2 standard pillowcases​, would contain only 1 comforter. I hope this message helps people to be more careful than I was about checking their packages as soon as they get home, just to make sure they got what they paid for. Other than this incident, my husband and I were very happy with the Hyannis Bed Bath and Beyond on the Cape. The employees were always friendly and helpful, the store was enjoyable to walk through and always had new items for sale that were interesting, fairly priced, and made our cottage more functional and/or more beautiful. read more

ABUSED VERBALLY by Noberto at the Hyannis Bed Bath and Beyond Store. The register didn't print a receipt...Noberto tried to convince me to leave the store without it...He said he'd have to go upstairs to print a receipt...so okay, but he apparently didn't want to do that. He spoke to me in a, LECTURE A CHILD TONE. He INTERRUPTED ME at least a dozen times, when he finally allowed me to speak for a few seconds, he TURNED HIS BACK TO ME AND WALKED AWAY while I was in mid sentence...other passive aggressive things he said to try to get out of printing a receipt: "YOU'LL HAVE TO WAIT" (with attitude & no apology)...He pointed to the door and told me to "GET OUT OF THE STORE". He repeatedly told me what had happened at the register (let's waste more of this customer's time and hope they leave). I repeatedly told him I was there & I didn't need to know anymore, I just needed a receipt....this was after he originally walked away from the register, unwilling to help, and left a very nice, patient female employee to repeatedly watch blank receipts come out of the register. He was bullying, in threatening tones, a 70 year old customer, to the point I was minutes away from calling the Hyannis Police. To further waste my time he told me that he already reported this to the assistant manager (while I was waiting for the receipt). Saving grace...another customer stopped to console me after she heard what was going on. She thought I knew the man who was verbally abusing me...I told her he was an employee. She was as flabbergasted as I was. She told me to report him to Customer Service. I told her Noberto was Customer Service...She stayed on with me for several minutes to make sure I was okay and bear witness. read more

This is a really big location and I noticed they had a key copying machine in the store. They also have a plethora of coffee samples and lots of food options in the store as well. The staff was very helpful and pointed me in the right direction for everything I needed. read more

This is the nicest Bed Bath & Beyond I have ever been too. They have a wall of k-cups which you can sample for free. There is also a food section with free samples and a variety of specialty foods on the shelves. Overall the store is huge but not overwhelming. Loved it here! read more

I have no idea why but every time I enter this store it makes me happy. The twenty foot high twenty foot long wall of kitchen gadgets and utensils is probably a large reason, although I do get annoyed when I see a $12 ice tray with individual buttons to gently remove one cube at a time. But enough about that ocd inducing item, they have mason jars with handles! I can drink milk like a southern gentleman! A really useful place for your sleeping quarters, washroom and "things past that" needs. read more

This BB&B has just opened in the same plaza as Wholefoods and is next door to The Home Depot. They have a nice World Markets section with some really great imported foods. The prices are all over the place, so make sure you don't overpay. They have some great staff there, particularly Deb, Brigitte, Jordan and Trevor. Of course the prices are crazy high but your 20% coupon will bring an item more close to reality. This chain is from the same schools as Kohls, as in "mark up to mark down" but you can find bargains if you look carefully. I purchased a T-Fal 10 in one rice etc cooker for less than $50, over $10 less than on Amazon. Avoid the bed linens and towels, that's where they get you. And remember, this chain owns Christmas Tree Shops round the corner, so if you're looking for cheap beach chairs etc, buy 'em at CT shops. Returns policy is good. read more

Great store. Has so much cool stuff. Even has the same stuff world market has. But the coupons and service is better at this store. Was in the store last week and a exceptional worker helped my mom find the perfect bed sheets. He was friendly and a pleasure to deal with. The cape needs more employees like him.
