He never even asked what I did for a living or discussed a fee--he just judged us based on appearance. I own a successful commercial renovation business, but he never cared enough to ask. To make matters worse, he was eating crab rangoon during the meeting, getting crumbs on his shirt, answering phone calls, and sending emails while we were trying to talk about one of the hardest moments of our lives.
