I have had Jocelyn's donuts many times, and they are always good ! Today, it was lunchtime and due to the Covid19, I drove thru and placed my order to go. I heard the chicken fried sandwich was good, so that's what I ordered. WOW This sandwich was delicious!! The meat was not greasy, like most other places. The vegetables were fresh ! If you can't decide what what you want, try the steak sandwich, it's not on the menu, that I could see, but it is Great !! Go get Full ! read more

My children love the chocolate iced with sprinkle donuts, blueberry cake donut holes, and the chocolate iced donut holes. Sausage and cheese kolaches, boudin kolaches (these are spicy), Jimmy dean (sausage patty in kolache bread), are our favorites. Cro-nuts (Croissant donuts) are SO good. I was in Palestine for a wedding recently and saw this shop on Yelp. My husband and I decided to try it out and ended up going back twice before we left town! We loved it! It is a great place to hang out and enjoy a biscuit sandwich, pig in a blanket, croissant sandwich. We tried them all and liked them a lot. I loved the Fall coffee drinks! I tried the Southern Gentleman, the Butter Rum Pumpkin Latte and the S'mores Latte over the course of our trip. I enjoyed them all, but the Southern Gentleman was my fav. My husband got a salted caramel frappe, so I tasted that one, too! It was soooo good! We came back for lunch and both loved their patty melt--so yummy! I want another one now. Now for the donuts. The apple fritter was awesome! Their plain glazed donuts and variety of donut holes are also very good. The maple bacon donut is my favorite! Finally, the service here is just wonderful. The owner and all the staff members are genuinely kind and you feel like you can hang out awhile there. I asked about other good places to eat in town, and one staff member made me a list.
