Saw these all over NYC, but ended up trying it in DC. Got the matcha latte and boy it screams MATCHA! I usually order drinks half sweet, but I decided to drink it the way it came. I was surprised by how unsweet it was and almost asked for sweetener. However, I decided to drink the rest as is and I'm glad I did because it felt healthier in the end. Under $6 for a grande size is pretty reasonable. The interior at this location was spacious and had aesthetically pleasing chairs and sofas. I want to return and try some of their smoothies when I am actually hungry.

The shake wasn't good, but also was not bad. This may be because there is no added sugar which would be a good thing. The server messed up my order then got upset . The ambiance is pretty relaxed and great for conversation. There will be music playing in the background. Definitely not worth the money 15$

Oh my!! I really had no expectations upon visiting Joe and The Juice. I was in the area and someone suggested I check them out, I am sooo glad I did. The spicy tuna sandwich was delicious!! The toasted bread was soooo good. I also ordered the Herb Tonic drink and the carrot cake. The drink was refreshing and the darn carrot cake just melted in my mouth!!! Whew goodness, I can't wait to go back. The atmosphere is cute and relaxing. The servers were nice but easily got confused. They bounced back okay. Listen to me when I say this, ready?!? Fight the traffic, have patience with parking and GO!! You will not be disappointed AT ALL.

The only thing I can really comment on is the acai bowl so far since that's the only item I ordered. It was way more nutty than I thought it was going to be, so if you enjoy nuts & acai, I would definitely recommend their acai bowl! It also had raisins in it. Overall, not bad but a bit pricey (~$13 for the bowl). Staff was friendly and nice! Thanks.

I took a quick trip to this shop actually by accident while looking for another store. I'm glad I came! It was quiet and that could be because I came during the middle of the day. I tried the Stress Down juice and was shocked that it was made in a blender with ice. It wasn't thick like a smoothie, so I guess it is still a juice. It was not strained. I enjoyed it though, but I could've used a warning because it was a little frothy. The carrot cake is amazing! So much flavor and moisture packed into such a little cake! The frosting is great!! The service was ok. They didn't talk much or explain much. I was hoping to be a little introduced to the store seeing as though I've never been here before. I did get a drink recommendation once I asked about drinks with ginger. The juice is made fresh which is always a plus! I'd come back!

The food was excellent, as always! So fresh, neatly made, and affordable. It's what keeps me coming back. The only critique is that the staff is super small, so orders take a while to make (15 mins for my juice and sandwich)

I was very pleasantly surprised with this place! I thought this would be just like Jamba Juice or Blenders, for my SoCal friends, where you just pop in, get a super large sugary drink, there's little to no place to sit so you just leave. Maybe some locations are like that, but not this Joe and the Juice. It was so clean, spacious, had outlets, nice bathrooms, good music and orders came out quickly. I got an espresso over ice which came in the most adorable little cup ever and was very tasty. I also got a small Rebuild protein shake which had avocado and chocolate protein. It was a very generous size Small, delicious plant protein with great consistency and I was full for hours after enjoying both. The wifi was strong and the environment made for a great remote work hub. I would recommend for students, as well, as it's very affordable and there's room for groups to meet for study sessions. They serve juices, smoothies, protein shakes, coffee and latte variations, wellness shots, omelettes, acai bowls, toasts and a variety of paninis. Pretty much anywhere in DC, especially the Chinatown area, I would park in a garage for the day and walk. These streets are not parking friendly but everything is relatively in walking distance. While this isn't a "must see while in DC" I would recommend if you're in the area and need a place to work/study or grab a quick healthy juice or shake.

I had an iced latte and it was awesome. Strong and tasty. I spent two hours here enjoying my coffee as I worked on my computer. The service was great. They offer free wifi, app ordering, seating area inside and outside. Wow the smell of sandwich in here is sooooo good I need to go back to try it!!!

Walked into Joe & the juice for a quick bite to eat. It was actually really tasty! I got the scrambled eggs on rye. It had the best taste to it! The guys working were kind, professional and fast. They also are eco friendly, paper straws, wooden utensils.

They were playing bossa and jazz. I opted for the Aren latte and Indonesian beef rissole. Aren latte: 5/5 Latte with an in-house made Aren (palm sugar from West Java) for that hint of molasses and dark brown sugar This was one of my favorite coffees I've had in a while. There was a delicious coffee taste not overshadowed but rather enhanced by the smoky sweet taste of the Aren. I'll be thinking about this latte for a while. Indonesian beef rissole: 3/5 Batter-like skin rolled in breadcrumbs filled with savory ground halal beef & sautéed vegetables While I've never had this dish before, I googled pictures of what it should look like, and mine seemed to have significantly less meat than it should've. The taste was still delicious and seasoned and hearty, but it was mostly mush with some veggies and hardly any beef. While I thought the rissole was disappointing, I love the aren latte so much I'll still keep the 5 star review.

I'm in search of the best croissant in DC, so I regret not getting the regular croissant on this visit, but the chocolate croissant gave me an idea of what to expect. Buttery, flaky, crispy, with just the perfect amount of sweetness. The typical chocolate croissant was my personal favorite. The cafe itself is huge, absolutely beautiful, and was packed when I visited. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, so it's a great spot whether you're meeting friends or getting some work done. The pastry case also looked incredible, I had such a hard time choosing, and I'll definitely be back to try more. I ordered a matcha, and I really appreciated that it wasn't pre-sweetened. It was creamy, earthy, and let the matcha shine. If you like your matcha a little sweeter, I'd recommend adding their in-house pistachio syrup. The only small downside was that it seemed like they use matcha concentrate that's prepared in advance rather than whisking each drink fresh. It was still good, but I do prefer freshly whisked matcha. Even with that, I'd absolutely come back. Their menu is extensive, everything coming out of the kitchen looked delicious, and the whole space has such a welcoming vibe. Also, take a minute to read the story behind the name "Tatte."
