This is the place to take stuff for repairs ONLY if you purchased it at Joe Blair. Although my mower has a Honda engine, they refused to fix it because it was a Troy Built. They said "We're too busy to work on other people's stuff". This is the 3rd bad experience I've had with them. I ended up taking my mower to Bob's Lawnmower Sales & Service in North Miami and they work on ALL machines with gas engines. 9 days later, my mower was working like it was new again. This place is simply the best at what they do: landscape and gardening supply, equipment, repair, and advice. They have saved me probably $15,000 of tree and lawn damage through the years from their advice. For example, when someone sprinkled the wrong fertilizer on my law, I almost lost it, but Mr. Blair heard me talking to one of his sons who works at the desk in the store, and he emerged from the office and walked me through the steps to prevent permanent damage. Fast and Inexpensive Repair of a Stihl Pole Chainsaw On a Friday afternoon, walked in with my Stihl pole chainsaw that the shaft had become disengaged. Repair took less than five minutes and they sharpened the chain while I waited. Will come back again. read more

This place is a rare find. I called about an issue with my relatively new Honda generator. Jonathan was extremely knowledgeable about my equipment, and he informed me of an issue this particular model was having and told me to come in and he would fix the problem while I wait...that's just unheard of these days. I went in to get routine service for my Troy Bilt weed eater. I was promptly told that they don't work on any equipment purchased from Home Depot or Lowe's. No logical reason was provided. Must be nice to be able to turn away thousands of paying customers who purchase equipment from two of the largest retailers in the country. Bizarre. read more

Brought my push mower in on the 01/02/17 for the starter pull cord to be replaced, routine service and blade sharpened. Had it done and ready for me before the end of the day and got it back home to use it some. Ran great. Will update if anything changes after a few uses, but so far great. read more

Terrible, irresponsible! They have too much work and not enough people to work!!!! My Honda generator has been there for 3 weeks. After a few days of dropping off my generator, I called them and they said that the part had been ordered..ok i say!!! Then 3 more days later I hadn't heard from them, so I call AGAIN. The answer: THE PART IS NOT HERE YET!!!..They transfeedr the call to another person and that person told me that they had to order a part "the starter" meaning they hadn't even ordered that part and were lying to me... I told them that i needed my generator because I use it for work!!! Today my generator has been there for 3 weeks. After not hearing from them I called them again today because if you don't call they don't even have the courtesy of calling you to let you know what is going on!!!! Well guess what...my generator is sitting there because they changed the starter and the starter is getting hot,so they don't know what to do anymore so they have to call HONDA but sorry David the owner told me...I FORGOT TO CALL THEM ..I APOLOGIZE.....,I'll call them right now !!!! So bottom line, i am stuck with JOE BLAIR at 320 NE 79th Street miami 33138 .but as soon i get my Honda generator back I'll NEVER EVER GO BACK TO THAT PLACE!!!!! read more

There crooks plain and simple, I have a Craftsman Platnum 7.25 mower that had less than an hour In running time but I took It thru a small patch of dirt and got a little In the carburetor, So It being brand spanking new I wanted to get the carb Cleaned to avoid any problems down the road so I took It to Joe Blair and explained that I just wanted the carb cleaned which Is a simple procedure for anyone that Is In the business of fixing mowers but they changed the spark plug Air filter and cleaned the Carb for a whopping $90 plus dollars and When I asked for the old spark plug they just didn't know where It went knowing i could just look at It and tell It had no problems whatsoever If I could give this place a Negative star I would, there are more snakes In that place than you will find In any yard read more
