I have to say that I love this Homegoods location! It is one of their bigger stores and has a giant selection of all kinds of cute things for every room in your home. I can not go to this store and buy just one thing! Kinda like those potato chips. You can't just eat one. I needed to update a few things around the apartment so my cart was full by the time I got done with what I wanted. Then my daughter wanted to buy a few things for her apartment. So we had 2 carts going. We wound up asking one of the staff if he could help us load up the car, and he nicely agreed to help us. Thank you! Homegoods always has great prices and markdowns on their merchandise. The value is there because they don't carry really cheap looking things. They carry good quality at reasonable prices. They don't carry designer goods nor designer prices. It's a fun place to shop! The store is always packed with people shopping. The cashiers are fast, and the line moves quickly. My daughter and I walked in and were appalled at the condition of this store! We walked in and there was trash overflowing from the trash can and trash everywhere in the main entrance of the store, where the carts are. I made a comment to my daughter that I couldn't believe the condition of this store. A Home Goods worker was present and stated in a very sarcastic tone "The store is under renovation. Thank you very much." I then turned towards her ( a lady with a burgundy red wig) and said "I can understand it is under renovation, but that doesn't mean the trash shouldn't be picked up. Under renovation doesn't mean your entrance should be in this condition." Little did I know the whole store was pretty much in the same condition with old trash between aisles. It was not a pleasant experience. Lots of damaged items. Just awful. Nonetheless, when I went to pay the cashier I told her that the store is very dirty and the cashier had the same answer as the first employee we encountered, "Under renovation." The furniture section always has some heavy hitters . The shower curtain section is great and if you're in the process of moving it's a nice spot to stop at for some final or integral pieces. Home is a place that needs to be cozy and representative of our own personality and shopping here allows me to place a little sprinkle of me in every corner of my humble abode. I'm not a fan of fake plants but the ones here are super cute. The vases are all great and the candle section is wonderful because you'll find different blends and sizes to all kinds of imaginable scents. Shopping here always is a pleasure and definitely warrants the headache parking ordeal. If your item is large, you can pull up and load it in the garage after checkout. This Homegoods literally stopped me in my tracks. My search for Lorann's flavor emulsions has spanned two states and 2000 miles. As we were walking past, I happened to glance in the window and it was like a miracle a occurred - there were my Lorann's front and center!!!!! Difficult to find food items are my forte! This Homegoods delivers on the baking items - great spice blends, sauces, extracts, and snacks! You can certainly find some awesome items here, at great prices! I also got some vanilla bean paste, and the bottle is already halfway finished! Homegoods are always large. There was a nice cookware section, bedding, your usual household plants and usual garden decorations! But, a rare product at a great price took the win for me! Plus, location, location, location. If you're unhappy with T.J. Maxx (no clothes here though), you can check out its nearby neighbors Marshalls or Ross, if discount is what you seek! read more

Great selection and great prices. However... the checkout line is always a mile long and you cannot take the carts past the door. So if you plan to purchase something large or heavy, better bring a buddy with you to take your purchases to the car. One of my favorite stores to shop for home decor. So many great bargains and always a great selection of everything you might need. You can always find same good quality of goods that other stores will charge double the price. The best selection of towels, glassware, pillows, sheets and even some nice furniture pieces, pictures, toys, rugs, lamps, you name it they have it. This store is probably one of the best Homegoods stores in Dade and Broward. I always find great stuff to buy here for the house or gifts for friends and family. Although this is a smaller location, I had to run to get some props. I had to keep my head down as to avoid using my own wallet! I probably won't shop here for personal use because it's a little smaller so the sales areas are also... But, boy. What a great staff. Another thing I don't love at this mall is the parking. In this case I parked in the garage but had to drive around to a loading zone to get my bags to the car. No biggie, but when you're rushing.... This store has everything you need from your cooking essentials to your interior decor that makes your friends think you hired a professional. The prices are on point for name brands and they have revolving merchandise that gets placed in the store weekly. So it's very easy to get hooked and see what's new in store every week. Manager at the store, her name starts with M, don't remember the rest, but it's the first time I ever encounter at the home goods who doesn't want to return or exchange something that is not functioning. I got a magnetic board for my kids but it cannot be cleans. Whatever you wrote in it with the provided marker stays on it. She offered to clean it with acetone ‍ How do you ask 2 and 3 yo children to clean it with acetone after they've used the board? So I just left the board at the store for them to use it. I am a home goods junkie. i have 12 throw pillows on my couch thanks to this store the problem is every single time i go to home good i just see another pillow i just have to have that goes with my decor perfectly... its madness! I love it, who needs to sit anyways? This location is great (parking is a bit of a pain) smaller then the one in aventurea but a nice size. A decent cookware section and pet section. We pretty much redecorated our condo with finds from here. We comes once a week just to look even my guy is addicted. FYI you can totally negotiate furniture sales. This store is great. While TJ Maxx, Marshall's and other discount stores have a home section that sells home decor, this entire store is dedicated to that! You can find anything from sheets and towels to a gazebo for your yard, or spices for the home. The prices are pretty reasonable and the selection is huge. Customer service is pretty decent and the lines move pretty quickly. Some of the items here will fly fast, this happened to me as I tried looking for a white porcelain conch shell with succulents inside to put as my balcony table's centerpiece. I had seen it about a month ago or so, but apparently they sold all of their inventory. I really dislike Midtown Mall's new $2 parking charge (parking used to be free) so I try to not come here much...but that actually may be a good thing, or I may end up constantly dropping money like there's no tomorrow to keep changing my home decor! read more

Home Goods has a wide selection of decor and other household items for a low price and good quality. Their product quality usually doesn't vary from store to store, but occasionally their products too. This HG has a pretty good selection (especially their candles). Everything is usually organized, and I usually see staff restocking and organizing, so that helps. Customer service is great, and everyone I have encountered has been attentive and kind. Checkout has always been easy! Once I went and had to wait about five minutes in line but every other time I was in and out. read more

Boo! I love the offerings, selections and prices here but the last three times have had me dropping my stuff back where I got it and walking out as the line snaked out the door in the middle of the day. The service is AWFUL and it's for no reason other than poor lazy management. This last time I picked a lot of stuff and waited it out for 40 minutes in line. Every single person going up to the register had issues. Of the 3 cashiers open, 2 were deeply confused by things and processed 2 customers each in 40 minutes. The one cashier processing people was wrapping each delicate item in more paper than necessary. The manager was walking around chatting, when cashiers finished they did not even ask for next on line. The managed just sat and looked at papers. I could not get to her to ask her to try and open more cashier stations until I was at the register. I had so much stuff I couldn't move around. When it was my turn I asked if she could open more stations as the line just kept getting longer and longer. She told me she was already helping and that they were moving quickly. I tried to argue with her that it was getting worse but not worth the energy. As I was walking out I heard her get on the loudspeaker and call for back up. Someone needs to straighten out the management at this place. It's a great Store in an awesome mid town location but that was likely my last visit. read more

Extremely poorly managed. There is always a long line- ridiculously long. Last time I went to grab a rug for my moms house I waited 45 minutes in line!!! Only 2 registers open and both working very slow. The manager is clueless and has no idea how to run an efficient store. I have a fear of Home Depot. I will not under any circumstances go in unless coerced. And when my friend suggested we needed to run in Home Goods, the panic started to rise. I had no idea what kind of place it was and thought they sounded similar enough - until she described it. Sort of like a Marshall's home section? I can do that! This place is even better than IKEA - which gives me insane headaches and has way too much amazing things to comprehend in one visit. It's tons better than CASA IDEAS - which I found the items to be too bright and oddly tacky, and haven't been back. And of course - it is much larger and therefore more wonderful than a Marshalls or TJ Maxx because the entire store is filled with home items: a section for pets, gourmet food products, tons of linens and pillows, decorations, everything! And the best part - is it is much more affordable and the quality and items are so diverse, than your regular department store. Love it! read more

Homegoods, why do you do this to me? I have been a loyal shopper at this location as I am often in Midtown for many reasons. I loved to peruse your aisles, find unusual clearance home decor for less than $10, and there was a period where the only processed food I ate came from your specialty gourmet department. I sought you out when I was low on Kona coffee, desperate for artisanal popcorn, in need of British rosemary lavender hand wash, and craving small batch ginger beer for Moscow Mules. However, at my last three visits, I left empty handed because of your lack of employees. I visited on a Sunday at 4pm, Saturday at noon, and Thursday at 9 pm and your lines were just so long and moved so slow that I gave up. I am a patient person and had been fiending for some imported organic pasta and discount macadamia oil, but after 20 minutes with one person on cashier and needing manager assistance for price checks, etc.and a long line ahead, you pushed me to my limit. And I need to note that I expect having to wait in line here, its not the Ritz or anything, but my disdain for having to wait so I can give you money outweighed my fear of spending too much. Please rectify this situation ASAP...if you think it would help if I sent a letter to corporate begging for more employees, I will do it! read more

This is one of my favorite Homegoods location. The store, for the most part, is always clean and well organized with plenty of products in stock. I usually find at least one item that I just must have. I do avoid shopping on weekends though, because the lines can be unbearable. The lack of cashiers does not help either. This is a pretty good Homegoods, with the other location I've been to located in Fort Hollywood near Dave&Busters. What would you buy here? For me, I head for the Yankee Candles, which are cheaper than you'll find elsewhere, as well as hand soap. A large bottle is actually cheaper/better than what you'll find at Publix. I wouldn't recommend a ton of the other items in the store, as most aren't made to last, or are slightly tacky. Pots and pans are a bargain here if you need them as well. You can also find steals on small plates, and coffee mugs. Go to the clearance section in the back for occasional designer plates/mugs; that is quite a bargain. You can lock up your bike right across if buying small stuff. read more

I got a few things from the store (bedsheets, baking pans, etc). The prices are good and the quality seems great too. The store is beautiful and has a variety of stuff. The only complaint I have is the cashier I had. She was rude and looked very grumpy as if I was taking money away from her. ps: there are some spots on the street for metered parking. Otherwise you can just park in the garage, plenty of space. It's about $1/hour. There are two spots in front of the store designated as loading zone. I went on the weekday but around lunchtime so it was hard to park in the loading zone (took me around 20 mins circling around until somebody left the loading zone). read more

Long story short, went shopping with the family, our daughter had to go to the bathroom and the women's bathroom was OOO, then stepped into the men's room with my 3yr into a half an inch pool of water on the floor with paper all over from what appeared to have been a toilet back-up. This Home Goods location is terrible if you are buying anything large or even medium size. Their shopping carts lock so you can't take them to the garage and they have no access to the garage. I tried to purchase two lamps and a few other things but ended up returning them before even leaving the store due to the situation of not being able to use a cart to take back to my car. Also it was a very busy Saturday afternoon and they only had three cashiers working and the line was HUGE. I say avoid this HG and find one with a better location. read more

Yesterday evening I went to my local Homegoods in Miami, FL. at the Shops of Midtown. The cashier was very rude. She did not greet me, barely made eye contact and was generally unpleasant. This is forgivable. The trouble started when I presented my printed online gift card. She scanned the gift card; however it did not work. She called a manager over. I explained the procedure is right on the print-out of the gift card. She said she was only able to scan. The manager came over and explained that he is not familiar with this, and he would have to call another store. I was irritated, b/c he didn't read the instructions on the gift card print-out at all, but I remained calm and let him leave to make his call. After a few minutes of waiting, my husband and I search for the manager. We find him re-stocking items. Not inquiring about how to redeem our gift card. I told him that I didn't understand the wait, as the instructions were on the paper! He said he didn't know how to do it, and was simply clearing stuff out of the way before going back to try and figure out the gift card. There was nothing to figure out! The instructions on the print out worked. But we were already upset. He was not apologetic. He was very rude, in fact. He even slammed my GLASS items on the counter. I then asked him to unwrap them and make sure he didn't break anything. He said they were fine. I insisted he check. He said they didn't know they were glass. A manager! That can't redeem an online gift card and slams a client's purchase! I love Homegoods,and have never been treated so badly at one of their stores. This location is terrible. read more
