Please read before buying LG! We bought an LG washing machine, replacing our old LG (10 year warranty). After a short few months it started to destroy our clothes. It first accord after washing our sheets. They looks like some sharp object would be in the drum and pull strands out of the fabric. We checked the drum, stroked over every inch with our hands, used cotton balls to see if anything stuck - nothing! I called customer service (we ordered our washer directly from LG). They told us to run the drum clean cycle 5 times in a row (that's 7.5 hours!) that should solve the problem. We did and the next load of laundry had the same problem. We called LG again, send them pictures as requested, were told they investigate and call back. They never did. Today was the 6th time I called and also send an email to the president. After telling them that I will write this review and post it everywhere I was asked by the supervisor if I use the right cycle to wash my laundry. I am 69 years old and know how to do laundry. Finally I was told he would pass it on to their service center which will contact me to find out if it is a manufactory defect. This goes on now for over 6 weeks. The service center contacted us via text and asked what are the defective parts - how am I supposed to know? The next message was they reach out if they have someone available. I would stay away from LG which is hard to say because we have LG everywhere from fridge to TVs but if something is wrong it is the worse customer service you ever experience. read more

I went in to return approximately $450 worth of molding and other materials that my customer no longer needed after changing sizes and project specifications. After everything was rescanned, I was asked for my driver's license. I realized I did not physically have it with me, so I immediately contacted my wife and had her send photos of both the front and back of my license. In addition, I have a Pro Account with Home Depot where my full name and purchase history can easily be verified. My Apple Wallet information also matched my identity and payment method. At the very least, they could have offered store credit considering all the information available to confirm who I am. Instead, manager Kristen refused to help in any way, showed absolutely no empathy, and handled the situation with a terrible attitude. When I asked for her full name so I could document the interaction, she refused to provide it and literally walked away from the situation. I had to look for her in the Pro area just to get her first name. I understand policies exist, but customer service and professionalism matter too -- especially for loyal Pro customers who spend money at this store almost daily. Everyone at this location knows me, and there were multiple ways to verify my identity. The lack of professionalism, empathy, and accountability shown by this manager was unacceptable. He took the time to understand exactly what I needed, guided me in choosing the right paint, and helped me figure out how to achieve the specific color I was looking for. I love going to this Home Depot because it is large with a great selection of building materials, bathroom items, appliances, paints, tools, gardening tools, plants, patio furniture, doors, windows, and many other items too numerous to list. Service can be sporadic. Sometimes, you wait in line for a long time. Other times, it is quick. Depends on the day and the time and the season. Some of the employees are very cordial, others may be having a tough day. They have a huge parking lot, but it does fill up quickly. Wear your sneakers. We have been coming here for years and will continue to do so. This time, I didn't find the palm tree in a pot that I was looking for, but maybe next time. read more

I purchased a refrigerator based on the recommendation of their appliance rep, Damian. When it arrived, the dimensions were completely wrong. I called the store within 24 hours, spoke with Damian again, and he told me he'd process a refund, schedule a pickup, and see about ordering the correct model. Then he never called back. When I followed up, I was told Damian no longer worked there and that I needed to contact Home Depot customer service. Customer service said it had been more than 48 hours and they couldn't take it back, and that the store manager would have to handle it. The store manager, Mike, told me he didn't believe my story and refused the return--even after I offered a screenshot proving I called within 24 hours. At that point, I had no choice but to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Do not shop here. This experience is solely about getting a key made here. If you need to get a key made (house/apartment keys, not car keys) and are near this Home Depot, definitely stop by. It couldn't be any easier. The key making machine is in the front of the store by the self checkout registers. You just stick your key in the slot, pick which type of key you want it made into (a plain, gold key is $3.47+tax. You can also choose from a couple key designs for $5.47+tax), and in one minute you have a new key! I usually use the Home Depot app to search for the item I want and then it tell me which aisle and bay to find it. Otherwise, I order online and return here, if needed. Do NOT buy plants or even go here at all because they have no clue how to water plants or take care of them. I was in about a week ago and every plant was absolutely waterlogged and many were dying from rot. I actually tipped a few plants over to drain out the 2 inches of water sitting on top of the soil. How dumb can you be? If you do go and find a plant that isn't root-rotting, check the leaves very closely because I saw the most mite-infested plant in my life sitting among a lot of the house plants. It's not that hard guys....if you work at an outdoor center you need to be trained on taking care of plants. I'm not paying $40+ dollars for a single plant only for it to die a week later from mites and root rot and also infest my own plants with mites. Terrible value, terrible place. read more

Home Depot Nursery for the WIN!!! Wow Henry & Angel are a god send! I was sent to buy some plants, which I know nothing about, and if it weren't for those two super helpful and friendly, greenery wizards, I wouldn't have know what to do. I didn't feel rushed whatsoever, Henry dropped what he was doing and showed me all my options, he even helped me find matching pots for everything, AND Angel loaded everything into my car for me. Along with the incredibly helpful treatment, the nursery was super well stocked and perfectly maintained. The only reason I give this location 2 stars is because they have ONE amazing sales associate named Joseph (he deserves 5 stars), however the majority of the sales floor including the cashiers have terrible attitudes and their lack of care and helpfulness is obvious. Joseph greeted us with a smile seconds after we walked in and asked what we were looking for! He helped us in numerous departments that had unhelpful or rude associates (window department, plumbing section and tile section, the list goes on). He went above and beyond and also apologized for his coworkers actions numerous times! He was able to help other customers while helping us by using his well appreciated communication skills ("I'll be right back", "I'm still looking for that item, I didn't forget you two", "sorry it's taking a little longer than expected, give me a couple more minutes") Thank you Joseph, you're amazing service and funny personality made our day and has drove us to spend over $60k at your Home Depot location! read more

A couple of days ago I went into this Home Depot for a return after picking up my child at day school. My boy was thirsty and we had not had a chance to stop at the store. At the return counter my boy was moody and asked me again for water. Frandiana at the register offered a bottle of water, she left the counter and came back in 10 seconds with a paper towel wrapped water bottle for my boy. I placed an online order for next day delivery, but this store says it's impossible. So I paid $40 for a 2-hour window the next day. Still no-show. Then set up for 9am next day. I lost the words. The working environment is poor no real energy. I'm the only person to greet anyone in the store while surrounded by Home Depot employees. Their representatives are not versatile in their departments. Not to mention that today I had a run-in with the general manager when I simply asked her for a certain item that was out of stock for over five weeks she pointed out that the item was right there, I told her that the wrong items were placed in that bin with the item that goes in that bin it's been out of stock for over five weeks. I also was able to find an air conditioner filter quickly with their help. They have a beautiful garden center with fantastic plants, mulch, and garden tools. You can also find hand tools, power tools, and wood for your projects. They have almost anything you need from hardware items to batteries and duct tape. Just ask the friendly staff. Home Depot also carries washing machines, dishwashers, and refrigerators for cheap prices! You can find the items needed to accomplish almost any home project in record time!! Item's needed to mount plants, like bark ,moss, and whatever else usefull to display plants. Also there is no good soil or coarse sand ,+ ! I purchased a washer and dryer machine from Home Depot on june 1 that was scheduled for delivery june 5. On june 5, the delivery men could not complete the delivery because I didn't have a 'stacking kit' which the 'appliance specialist' from Home Depot did not mention after seeing pictures of the closet where the machines would be and current picture of my stacked machines. 2nd attempted delivery was June 12, after I got the stacking kit. on June 12 they tell me they cannot install because my machine came with a 4 ft hose and I need a 6 ft hose (the 'specialist' said 4 ft would be fine). The delivery man was also extremely unprofessional and did not haul away or delivery the machines without 3rd delivery attempt in which the delivery men apparently pulled into my buildings garage and claimed there was no parking, and left without calling me or speaking to anybody in my building. My security guard said they never spoke to anybody with Home Depot, and the Home Depot management team is unable to contact their delivery provider. I spoke with 3 representatives all of which are 'not able to reach them'. This is the 3rd failed delivery attempt and there is a lack of resolution. I have taken 3 days off of work to schedule the deliveries and it seems they have no regard for time/salary lost by their customers. I will be returning the entire order and never purchasing appliances from Home Depot again. Disaster of a company. This is truly one of the worst Home Depot stores, and corporate should be ashamed to allow it to continue to operate like this. No one here shows any pride or interest in their work, and most associates have no knowledge about the areas they represent, from plumbing to gardening. Standing in the checkout line is worse than a TSA queue. The most recent misadventure here was buying a Christmas tree, an activity that should radiate joy. The men "working" in the Christmas tree area of the nursery were not only unhelpful (didn't have knives to open the trees) but we're also disingenuous, saying they'd be "right with" customers, then walking away, verbalizing they were going on break. They were cursing and complaining, too, in a way that would have made me very uncomfortable if children had been around. From top to bottom, this store shows a compete lack of professionalism. Furthermore: the store is poorly stocked and disorganized (don't trust the online inventory on homedepot.com), and if you order something for pickup, the order is frequently cancelled (out of stock, despite what the website says) or can take more than a day to prep for pickup (the website says two hours). Only go to this HD if you don't require any assistance from the staff. As a PRO customer I am absolutely appalled by the last two times I have been to Home Depot in North Miami on Biscayne. It's concerning how they do the hiring. I have needed assistance, gone to several employees who tell me to wait at the isle and they will page someone to help me. I hear the page and nobody shows up. First time I waited 40 minutes and spoke to 5 different staff members that "paged someone". Today same story but this time I decided to call the store and ask for a supervisor. He tells me to wait for him at the isle, he arrives 15 minutes later, (at this point I have been at the store for 1hr) He was nice but had no clue how to help me. I was at the building isle looking for brackets to build my porch deck. He brings 2 other associates that have absolutely cero input or knowledge, leaves me with them, they tell me to stay there that they will look at another isle to see if they find the parts needed and guess what? They VANISHED and never came back. 1.5 hr lost! And I told this supervisor that 2 days before I had the same issue trying to place a lumber order. I couldn't do it online bc it said check your store for availability so since it's impossible to get someone on the phone; I went in person and NO ASSISTANCE WHAT SO EVER, so, I decided to go to SHELL LUMBER and placed my 2 EXTENSIVE orders there since the staff there is knowledgeable, VERY helpful and prices and inventory are MUCH better too!
