10/10 - The Only Body Shop I'll Ever Use…read more Restivo Auto Body & Towing Inc. -- and especially the owner, Greg -- deserve every bit of praise I can give. I brought in my Infiniti QX60 after it was damaged in the snow, and the experience was nothing short of exceptional. They handled everything: the bumper, the radar sensor, and even the windshield washer tank issues. They even fixed some minor dents etc. I had over the years at no extra cost. The car now looks new. The level of care, precision, and honesty was beyond anything I've experienced at a body shop. I chose not to go through insurance to avoid a premium hike, and Greg personally worked with me to make sure the repairs were done right, fairly priced, and without cutting corners. His guidance was honest, transparent, and genuinely focused on what was best for me -- not what was easiest or most profitable for the shop. That kind of integrity is rare. The craftsmanship on my QX60 is flawless. The car looks and drives like nothing ever happened. You can tell Greg takes pride in his work and treats every vehicle like it's his own. I also learned that Restivo works on Teslas, which says a lot about their technical capability and attention to detail. If you have a Tesla -- or honestly any vehicle -- this is the place you want touching it. If you're looking for a body shop that is trustworthy, skilled, and truly customer‑focused, Restivo Auto Body & Towing is the one. Greg and his team have earned a lifelong customer. Highly recommended.

No one needs to know how, but I had a dent in the back of my Toyota Highlander. Not wishing to…read moreincur higher premiums, I sat with it for so long that it was a clear identifier of my car in a full parking lot. Then I decided to get it fixed, and honestly, I just went with a place close to home: Restivo. But they were so nice and I got a great price. They took care of the dent and other blemishes I had fixed while I was at it. I told them they were great, but I really hoped I would not see them again. About a year later, my new driver hit the garage with my mirror. I instantly went back to Restivo and they found the mirror and got me set up. Not only that, because I have a toddler, they were able to pick up the car and then drop it off when they were done. The mirror camera was off a little, and when I stopped by, they just seem like they drop everything for you and talk to you and access the situation. I made an appointment for them to take a look at it. The dealership had the car the day before the appointment, but I didn't have a chance to look at it after the dealer brought it to me. There was an error that not even the dealership knew what it was! But since no one seemed to know when the message came up, Adam was willing to take responsibility and help me figure out what it meant. It turned out to be the dealership not finishing the work, but I was really touched when Adam said, "Well, the car was in our possession when it popped up, so make an appointment and we'll figure it out." Sue was so patient with me calling constantly with some question or another. Thanks to Greg and anyone else I missed because I am terrible with names! I really hope no one has to use them, but if you do need a body shop, they are a choice that I am going to recommend to all my friends. But I don't want to have to go to them again!

I know this is a long review, but I wanted to make sure I included all the major details so…read morepossible future customers are informed. My car was rear ended and only received superficial damage to the plastic bumper cover and a small minor dent on the lift gate. The responsible parties insurance company claimed responsibility and sent me a check for $2300 for repairs. I knew it was a little low, so I decided to take it to JT's Collision to get another estimate. When I took it there, I was told they wouldn't do an estimate and that they would just work directly with the insurance company on cost after they took the bumper off to see if there was any other damage. Right then, I kind of had a weird feeling in my stomach that something wasn't right. I ignored that feeling since I wasn't paying for the repairs anyway and dropped my vehicle off at JT's Collision Repair on August 7th and was told it would take 2-3 weeks for repairs. After the first 3 weeks and still not getting a call from the shop, I called them and they stated that they are waiting for the insurance company to approve additional repairs. He told me the lift gate needed to be completely replaced. Now mind you, I took the pictures you see in the review before I dropped the vehicle off. There were no check engine lights, no bent frame, and even the liftgate only had minor damage. Everything was superficial. The guy said it would be another two weeks, so I waited another two weeks. Each week after that, the return date kept getting pushed back and back with new supplemental repairs, until over two months later, I finally was able to pick up my car. Essentially, they "claimed" they performed all this work on the vehicle that was required and needed payment from the insurance company before giving me back my car. When I picked up my car and looked at the seam between the rear driver quarter panel and the bumper, there was a build up of paint on it, almost as if the bumper was painted after they installed it on the vehicle. At the end of the day, JT's Collision charged more than $10K for the repair of my car. Look at the damage and look at the cost they charged to repair that damage and you tell me if it was worth more than $10K. Granted, I didn't pay a cent because the insurance company footed the bill, however, keep that in mind if you are going there to get your car fixed with your hard earned dollars. Body shops that price gouge insurance companies is part of the reason your insurance rates are high. I can't say definitively what they did and didn't do in regards to the repairs, what I can say definitively is if my car was ever damaged again, I would absolutely NOT take it to JT's Collision.

Let's start by saying that I absolutely hate writing reviews unless they are positive. Typically I…read moredon't bother, I just don't go back to that place. However, this is one that after 5-6 months, I have to write. I write in hopes of saving someone else the money that I spent and steer the to a more reputable business. I will also start by saying that I am partially to blame for this bad review. I went to Perfect Touch Performance over a month and a half or so and kept giving Wes, the owner, chance after chance to do a better job or make things right. Wes is a very likable guy. A family man who lives in the area, so I really wanted it to work out. I am to blame for not reading the signs of the poor work. I also am not too mechanically inclined, so I trusted what Wes was saying. I had a 1809 word review written up and it turns out Google doesn't allow that. So here is the TLDR; -Exhaust: Full exhaust install, installing new cats and back. The exhaust is already rattling. Reputable shop that fixed his issues said the system was improperly installed and will need redone. Exhaust hangs too low, outside of channel that it would fit in. When asked about the rattle I was told pretty much "it was good enough to pass inspection and since we used customer supplied parts (the muffler he recommended) that its not under warranty. -Paint: Paint work done was cracking within a couple days and his fix for the chipping paint was terrible (see pictures). Windows were left open when doing this work, causing a mess in the car. Brought the car back in for Wes to clean. Residue from his work ruined my boost gauge screen. Just see the attached picture and you'll understand. $3k+ and you can get a lot better of a job at Maaco. -Engine bay: The catch can was not mounted correctly and due to its placement rubbed one of the hoses. The rub was causing the new hose to wear down already and for the catch can screw plug to come loose and leak oil. Another other shop had to fix this. -Oil change/sensor: I took the car back multiple times for the sensor to be replaced and fixed. Ultimately the sensor never was working by the time I was done with Wes. The reputable shop again had to do the work. It works now. I have doubts it was ever touched. -I spent over $7.5k of work and literally everything he touched wasn't done right and needed or needs redone/fixed. Every last thing that he worked on was done poorly. Everything he did has had issues that needed fixed or has issues that still need fixed. I can't state this enough; don't try and save a few dollars by going to this cheaper shop. Honestly, I wouldn't trust them to wash my car at this point. Go to someone whose reviews weren't written by friends/family. I was told that he worked with my budget constraints and that was the problem... $7.5k... I expected the work done to at least be done right. Spend the extra cash now so that you aren't just spending it later.
