His disorganization led him to some major mix-ups, which he became angry about and attempted to shift the blame. At that point, I had already given him the number of two other people he could've made commission on just to be nice, so it wasn't as though I was extremely demanding or hard to deal with. He was rude, pretentious, and ended up cursing out my very sweet and patient mother (who was my eyes on the property since I was looking remotely before moving cities). Very beautiful living room area with huge ceilings, state of the art music an entertainment center, and even some congas to play your own music! One of the biggest issues was finding cockroaches inside the home and the cabinets, so gross. The hot tub was another big disappointment, which was one of the primary reasons we booked this home. We arrived to find it completely empty, dirty, and unusable. The grill was also unusable. These were major advertised amenities, and we believe guests should be informed before check-in if they are unavailable. The listing also advertised two king beds, but the home did not have two king beds as advertised. Additional issues included: * The original door code did not work upon arrival. * The oven is the size of a toaster oven. * There were not enough towels provided for our group and we had to request more, which they provided. * The bedroom closets did not have hangers. * The outdoor patio was sticky and needed to be cleaned. * The outdoor trash cans were overflowing and smelled terrible for most of our stay. This attracted a significant number of mosquitoes, making it very unpleasant to spend time outside. * Overall, the property appeared to need better routine maintenance and preparation before guests arrived. The management team was responsive after we reported the issues, but were hard to get a hold of. However, many of these concerns--particularly the condition of the hot tub and grill--appeared to exist before our arrival. We believe these issues should have been identified and addressed, or at the very least disclosed before check-in, so we could make an informed decision.
