Here's my story. i visit my local Goodwill Thrift Store most Tuesdays for the senior discount. I noticed this gentleman looking at this fine piece of pottery located on the end cap with other fine looking items. I had to wait a minute, walk down another isle to pretend i wasn't interested, until he put it back on the shelf. I quickly retrieved it before anyone else could. It was flawless! I don't think it has ever been filled. I'll remedy that. I did a web search for this item and the artist. Could not find it anywhere. So I called the artist, Joe Winter, and left a message inquiring about it's history. To my surprise he called back that evening and left a message with the history of this Ritchey Growler. It seems in 2012 the COO of Ritchey commissioned approximately 10 of these for the employees of Ritchey Bicycle. I called Joe back the next day and he was happy to chat for a while about the growler and it's history. He's a very friendly guy. I plan to visit his studio the next time i'm in the area. He also mentioned he has made growlers for some of the local breweries in the Reno/Sparks. Time for me to start a collection! And that's my story........I'm sticking with it. Thanks Joe! read more

Joe and Shiho Winter are superb artists and visiting their gallery is a walk through heaven. I love going there to shop for holiday gifts because I know how impressed their recipients will be. Everything they make is incredibly special, and affordable! read more

Our room had 2-yippee. It makes sense 2 people in a room 2 sets of luggage!! The king bed was comfy and had plenty of pillows. The bathroom was nice, water pressure was good in the shower and so was the lighting. One interesting item was the use of comps at the restaurants. I was told we could only use them Sunday thru Thursday. Kind of peculiar that they are limited.

They came to the table and were rude to me right from jump Talking down To me. One dealer literally said if u don't know how to bet to my friend then don't bet here. Instead of dealing with it they ask me to leave . They do not value their customers here! I recommend another casino where you will be appreciated .

I made a reservation at El Dorado in Reno back in June 2025 for a three-night stay…read more(Tuesday-Thursday, checking out Friday) in April 2026. After nearly 10 months of planning, I expected the basics to be handled correctly. When we checked in, we were given a double room instead of the King room we reserved. I went back to the front desk and was told that because they were oversold for Thursday night, there was no way to move us into a King room at all during our stay. That explanation didn't make much sense--they confirmed they had King rooms available Tuesday and Wednesday, but because of the Thursday overbooking, they couldn't honor the reservation for any of the nights. So even though I booked months in advance and had already arrived, I was effectively bumped in favor of guests who hadn't even checked in yet. To make matters worse, only 2 out of 5 elevators were working the entire stay, which led to long waits (up to 20 minutes to get down in the morning) and added frustration. After the fact, I looked through other reviews and saw that this seems to be an ongoing issue, not a one-off situation. Between the reservation not being honored and the operational problems, it was a pretty disappointing experience overall. Skip this place.

Came in a little later and had to get buzzed in via the doorbell. Security was super prompt and nice. Sydni the bartender was awesome, very knowledgeable and was doing a fantastic job taking care of guests. The security was training someone and they were both pretty solid with their customer interactions as well. This place is still super small though, so getting a seat might be a challenge on a busy night. This place might be cool if they continue the project and give this place a little more room to breathe.

My wife and I came by on a Friday night and it was busy but not overcrowded. We sat at the bar and had a draft beer and played some blackjack on the machines. The bartender was friendly and gave us some details on the planned expansion, and also got us signed up for a player club card. Not much of a casino yet, but excited for the expansion plans, including a bowling alley and more gambling space. I will say the food menu looks very reasonably priced, I didn't eat on this visit but will be interested in trying some of their food options on the next visit.
