They arrived prepared to be surrounded by heartache and loss, but once there, it helped shift the mood from grief to gratitude. Our friend loved this place, and it felt deeply meaningful to honor her in a setting that reflected her spirit. I want to personally thank Iris, who helped me coordinate. She was so kind, attentive, and accommodating--making sure we had everything we needed and being available throughout the process. Her support made a big difference. The energy of the River School Farm helped our smiles rise above our tears. It truly created a space that felt like community. I cannot recommend this place enough

Close to the Truckee River, tucked in a little pocket of Reno by Mayberry Park, we couldn't have asked for a spot that felt as private and serene. We wanted our day to feel like a slightly fancy-outdoorsy family reunion and knew this spot would be perfect when we visited it in the spring. By the fall, the greenery around the venue had filled in, making the area (and all our photos) extra beautiful. The available space can be set up in many different layouts. The ceremony area easily fit our guest list of 40, with room to spare. Then, it doubled as an area for games and later a bit of casual dancing by just moving a few chairs. We loved having a few different but connected areas for guests to spend time together. The owners were so helpful explaining everything about the venue. Many thanks to both for sharing such a wonderful space that is clearly cared for and kept with much love.

It is incredibly refreshing to work with a local company that actually cares about customer service. First and foremost, the professionalism of the staff is unmatched. They are courteous, respectful, and clearly take pride in their work. The crew arrived on time, was extremely thorough, and went above and beyond to make sure my yard looked immaculate. What truly sets them apart is their open communication and consistent updates. I never had to guess when they were coming or wonder about the status of my project. They kept me informed every step of the way, which makes managing a busy schedule so much easier. If you are looking for a reliable, professional, and high-quality lawn service in the area, look no further than Cory's. They transformed my yard, and I will definitely be a long-term customer!

On that initial visit, Cory's sent 4-5 people and they did a good job. They pulled the overgrown weeds, raked up, got the yard tidy & cleaned up. Fast forward to this spring, Cory's sent 2 people, they didn't pull ANYTHING, just sprayed weed killer - even on the emerging daffodil & tiger lillies which are now dead. So they're left with a yard of dried, dying weeds and debris for the same rate as their prior visit. So, they put their best foot forward initially then barely phoned it in for the follow up. Of course, my tenants aren't willing to continue with them but are still left with a messy yard they paid to have weeded and cleaned.

Most recently we visited Toytopia. This exhibit offers the chance to explore a hands-on history of toys from the past and into the future. My kids loved the oversized robotic claw, reminiscent of an amped up arcade machine. It was a blast trying to get the individually articulating fingers to close around the ball in order to lift it into the basket for the big reward. We also enjoyed the oversized battleship game. So fun to play and we spent 20-30 min there. Mr Potato Head was old school fun too. We made a competition out of it to see who could make the wackiest example. I think I won... or maybe my kids let me win. But the favorite had to be the mini arcade they had setup with some of the best old school cabinets. Donkey Kong, DK Jr., Dig Dug and so many more are all here as part of the exhibit and you could spend a long time here without realizing it! Oh and there's even a Zoltar fortune teller too! When you're done at toytopia you can go learn the history of Wilbur D May on the other side of the museum. I personally love exploring the artifacts and treasures he collected from his travels, especially the hunting and fishing trophies! All in all, a great little place to spend a

Just understand that May was a "big game" hunter when that was not frowned upon as it is now. Many of his "trophies" are found throughout the museum.
