I feel compelled to say that I never subscribed to the unfeeling, money-hungry lawyer trope; in…read morefact, most of my encounters with legal professionals have been extremely positive. I even have a few lawyers in my family so if anything, I'm biased towards them. Ross successfully changed all that. His paralegal, Becky Gaffer (likely by his instruction) does not permit anyone who is not paying Ross or another lawyer to speak with or even email him directly leaving me to draw assumptions based on case information I've gathered from Hennepin county and my personal experiences with the firm. David Kelland Ross is responsible for prosecuting a number of people exercising their right to peacefully assemble. According to him, prosecuting citizens (especially young students of color with no prior criminal record) is an acceptable way to make a living. Working in Brooklyn Park, a diverse community especially by Midwest standards, David Kelland Ross is yet another perpetrator of the institutionalized discrimination minorities in this country face every single day. It's likely an easy win for Ross, prosecuting Black people for non-violent offenses within the community without tangible or sufficient evidence may be quite satisfying for him and his firm. A conclusion I've drawn given the fact that Brooklyn Park is comprised of around 55% people of color and yet this law firm just happens to have a faculty that is 100% white (but I'm sure that's just a coincidence). I encourage you to hire David Kelland Ross if you are seeking a lawyer who is not concerned with carrying out justice or doing what's right, I truly believe you may have found the perfect person.
