The night before the incident Klein's called my neighbor and said they would be there the next day. I was still uninformed and was until I thought the weedeating was going on too long outside and was definitely in my yard, not the neighbors. They didnt knock on the door, they didnt warn me, they didnt ask me to move my plants or let me know I would be trapped inside my home. I am disabled and the ramp was blocked. When I first saw what was happening I went out and was shocked, half my garden was buried in trees, my potted plants looked destroyed. I yelled(so they could hear me) "did you even try to be careful?" and the response was curt and rude. Something along the lines of him being unable to control where stuff fell. With a warning I could have tried to lessen the damage or left, I actually missed a Dr appt because of this. I tried to watch more and snapped a couple pictures and a branch fell right outside the door. After a while they left and I went out to see what happened to everything. They had intentionally caused more damage by stacking cut lumber on a previously unaffected part of the garden. I then called and was hung up on. I had gone to facebook to post my review and post up on a couple local groups about the poor service and the guy threatened to sue me for slander. Again... DO NOT USE!

I had a very disappointing experience with Bills Tree Service. The crew was working on my…read moreneighbor's property and decided to try and cut a tree directly over my parked vehicle without giving me any notice. I have lived next to this property for over 16 years, and the property owners have always allowed us to park in those spaces during certain hours. I was parked there just as I have been for years without any issues. There were a couple of cones blocking two parking spaces, but they had been sitting there for weeks--over a month after a storm. Because they had been there for so long, they did not indicate that tree work was taking place that day. There were no additional cones, signs, or warnings where my vehicle was parked. I only found out what was happening because another neighbor called me to warn me. When I went outside to move my car, I couldn't. One of the workers had equipment positioned just inches behind my vehicle, leaving me with no room to back up and no way to move forward. When I explained that there was literally no way for me to move my car, the older worker responded, "Figure out a way to move it, I'm not moving." He then continued making rude and disrespectful comments, including saying, "Figures, you're probably such a bad driver you can't even do that." He later claimed they had asked for the cars to be moved, but I was never informed in any way. No one knocked on my door, left a note, or spoke to me before they started working over my vehicle. The complete lack of communication, the willingness to cut a tree over someone's car, and the disrespectful way I was treated were extremely unprofessional. A simple knock on the door or a few minutes of communication could have prevented this entire situation. Instead, I was insulted and expected to move a vehicle that was physically blocked by their equipment. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Bills Tree Service.

We got a bunch of quotes from landscapers and some looking at the work and were just not interested…read moreas it looked like it was too big of a job. We thought to get quotes from all that we could and Juan's card was at our door one day. Juan came out to look at the work we wanted and even came on site afterwards because I had some details that I needed to ask him about that came up with other contractor visits. He beat their prices. As you see in my pictures it was in complete distress. Neighbors were glad to see our eye sore go away and a neighbor a few streets down were so impressed that they hired him to do a wall too. He has done commerical landscaping so he knows what looks good for the budget. We had him: 1. Remove all weeds and a bunch of large stumps. 2. Replace original fence 3. Remove a planter and put concrete so we could park an additional car 4. Build a 2 to 3 tiered wall with drainage. 3 tiers where the slope was the higher. 5. New concrete steps and some other dirt areas with concrete. 6. Level the dirt and lay down enough mulch so weeds don't grow It was a big job and he and his crew did a lot of work in the summer heat. They were professional and courteous. Most of the time it was a crew of 6. They even helped the UPS guy deliver heavy boxes of bookshelves to our front door. If a concern came up Juan called me up and would meet me when I got off work so we could see it and discuss it in person. With a varied slope and angled property, the design of the steps and walls needed a lot of attention. He wanted to make sure I was completely satisfied. He was patient when I had to discuss some decisions with the wife. We will definitely use him again for more landscaping when I save enough money for it. Not only were we satisfied, but our neighbors were as well!

Juan Olague and his guys just left and holy cow did they do a GREAT job! The crew was friendly,…read morepolite, and took care with what they were doing. We needed a large magnolia tree trimmed, one smaller tree removed, and branches from the neighbor's tree, which were overhanging the garage, trimmed back. The price was very reasonable, especially when you consider how much work was involved. I called to request an estimate on Tuesday morning and Juan came out that evening. We scheduled the work for 2 days later. Juan did all of the dangerous, high-flying work himself, as well as the dicey cutting around phone and cable wires. I was happy to see he worked safely and was tied in with a rope when cutting the very tall tree out front. They were considerate of my neighbors and conscientious about cleaning up. My patio and carport look better now than when they started! When working in the street they had orange cones out and were quick to clear the sidewalks of branches, which kept the neighborhood walkers and joggers happy. They even tied up the fronds of two small palms I have out front so that they wouldn't be damaged by falling branches. It's something that I certainly didn't think of and I appreciated that kind of attention to detail. I couldn't be happier with Olague Tree Service and will definitely be calling them again. They do landscaping too, so I see a bunch of new plants and an updated front yard in my future.
