At First the place looked sketchy. But we were STARVING so we went anyways. The person working was very nice and I loved their accents. The Food displayed looked delicious but the salad bar on the other hand looked a little bit scary it looked soggy and nasty! We they brought the food it was nice and hot! Ambiance is 'ok' but the service is decent, order at the counter. And the food is great. I prefer the Bgap one - probably more for nostalgia, but they are closed on Monday so we hit the industrial road one, calzone and Stromboli were pretty comparable to Bgap. We stopped in going back to Dallas and me and my mom were expecting alright pizza. When I tell you this place has some of the best Italian food I've eaten at it's true. Yuck! Food was gross. We ordered angel hair pasta with marinara, but we were served really cheap, gross regular spaghetti with red sauce. Caesar salad was not Caesar dressing and it was soggy AF. The bread was not even garlic bread. Just some cheap lightly toasted bread. Oh, and the clientele looked a bit sketchy. There was a table full of gang bangers that seemed like they were just looking for trouble. Very loud, offensive language and just generally distasteful. Ughhhhh. Never again. I guess it's my fault for ordering this, because I apparently misinterpreted both "stuffed" and "meat lovers." I thought I was getting the perimeter of the crust stuffed with cheese and the pizza itself mounded with meat. As it turns out, all I got was "less than half the meat" sprinkled lightly between two layers of crust. I'm not sure how they define "meat lovers," but you can see in the photo there's very, VERY little meat, and what meat is present is some kind of ground meat (hamburger or sausage?), no pepperoni, and no ham. It's all bread. And I paid almost $27 for something that most have cost them $2 to make. I have way too many options in ordering good pizza in Abilene without overpaying for a horribly over-priced and thinly-topped pile of bread. I won't make this mistake again. My family and I came here for a late lunch. The staff is very friendly. We all ordered different slices of pizza, calzones and a Stromboli. They were all so delicious and very flavorful. The pizza was nice and crispy on the bottom and they don't scrimp on toppings. They have granulated garlic on the tables which is a bonus to me. The place was clean with an nice atmosphere. I had my first pizza experience with Joe's Pasta & Pizza yesterday. I ordered a cheese pizza, a Joe's Supreme pizza and an order of Garlic Bread. Wow, I was impressed. That pizza was one of the best pizza's that I've ever eaten. I was really in the mood to have some good garlic bread. Unfortunately I was disappointed because I couldn't taste even a hint of garlic. That's why I only gave 4 stars. I will be going back though for pizza. Maybe I'll let Joe's know to add extra garlic? If I can taste garlic next time I'm sure that I would give 5 stars. read more

Pizza is always burnt and the crust gets thinner every year. If you get a hot sandwich here prepare to be hungry as the bread is stale and there's no meat on it. If you order delivery don't via Grubhub or Doordash- he will make the drivers wait upwards of an hour while they pound out menu hoppers orders. Why? Because they charge him less. It's that petty. I refuse to go here any longer as a customer or delivery driver. Sad, used to like this place. But the slow service and thin crust overpriced burnt pizza is simply too much to handle. Horrible. Went to the website https://www.joespastapizzasubs.com/ and used the menu. Ordered two pizzas and two focaccia bread orders for a total of $50.96 plus tax. When my daughter picked up they charged us $69.04. I called and asked what happened and they said that was not their website. No offer for a refund, coupon, nothing...how is it not their website when their address, phone, exact menu (with incorrect pricing!) is there. Obviously it's their website and it's still up and running with a way to order. This is horrible customer service. Not going there again. read more

I was early to meet a friend at the zoo down the way and found this place, so I thought I'd stop for lunch. There was a line out the door, so that was a good sign. This is the Joe's that you'll find on Arrowhead delivery. Being from Chicago, I pride myself on being a pizza connoisseur--for whatever that's worth. Admittedly, this pizza is more in the style of what you'd find in New York and although it's blasphemous to say, I prefer the New York thin crust to Chicago's deep dish. The pizza at Joe's is a great example of how a pizza crust should taste. It's chewy and well-cooked and always consistently tasty. The crust has a good yeasty flavor and is great dipped in some extra marinara. They also have anchovies as a topping--and although I know those aren't to everyone's taste--it reminds me so much of home and Joe's anchovy pizza doesn't disappoint...and neither does their other toppings. We've tried their pastas and they're always pretty decent as well. On occasion the macaroni can be a tad overcooked, but I chalk that up to sitting in the hot container during delivery. While I'm so very pleased with Joe's food, I would love to see a few more appetizers added to the menu. That would really help them corner my personal pizza market! read more

Everybody in town drives past Joe's Pizza on Treadway, sometimes 2 or 3 times a day. Well I've been in Abilene 4 years now and made my first stop there. It was a Friday night and I had a hour or two to kill before heading off to Shotwell to watch the local High school football game. Called in a 18 inch pizza for pick up. Was told 20-25 min. When we arrived at the time to pick it up they had no clue what we were talking about. Said no pizza was called in to them. I showed them the number that we called. After around 5 mins of trying to figure out who took the order with each other about who's fault it was they just offered us a drink while we wait another 30 min for the pizza.
