This man offed it to me on the house now that is some great customer service. I had to decline bc we have such a long drive ahead of us but he hands down was so kind. So I'm going with 4 stars. The Haddock had a nice coating that was seasoned with a little black pepper that gave it a tasty kick. The menu for this Sunday is your choice of a Swiss Steak dinner or a Creamed Chicken over Biscuit dinner. I met Jim, the owner, and he told me that has been in the restaurant business for 34 years. I found this to be extremely disheartening and discouraging, as the condemnation stemmed from sheer racism and Islamophobia. I had reported a coworker a week prior for threatening to "kill a Muslim if IT" came near him, at work on the clock... he finished his shift. Yet me advocating for Palestinian rights outside of work, off the clock, cost me my job. I just feel like people have the right to know what kind of business they're supporting-- and at The Lake Club, you can be served by someone who threatens to kill people in the kitchen, but not someone who says "free Palestine" 7 hours away from the club.
