    Strawberry Cheesecake

I celebrated my 31st birthday with my beautiful family here. Our first experience was okay, taste wise but the amazing service made up for the underwhelming food. We started with an order of Fried Calamari, it was very chewy but the Thai sauce made it easy to ignore the texture and enjoy the flavor. I ordered the Mussels Ala DeNapoli with a side of pasta and extra sauce, the sauce was very bland, it tasted like mainly olive oil and raw garlic, the mussels were tasty but a bit bitter. I was hoping for a full bodied vibrant butter sauce with white wine as it was advertised on the menu. My husband ordered a steak, Dijon Bourbon NY Strip, he was very happy with the char, the temperature and flavor of the steak but was not satisfied with the red sauce/glaze it was saturated in. My daughter ordered the Orange Salmon, she did not like it at all. She orders and prepares her own salmon often, at least 4-5 times a week. It was disappointing to hear she didn't like it because it was undercooked. My mother in law ordered the Peel and Eat Shrimp. Again the flavor was a 1-10, very bland and underwhelming. The strawberry cheese cake was the best thing I ate, and could possibly be the best thing on the menu. Would come again because the overall experience was not terrible but would not recommend to anyone I know unless they are craving a great cheesecake.

We had dinner here last night and it was amazing! Our waiter was amazing too and did a fantastic job! He continously checked on us, was fast, friendly and works extremely hard. Great job Magic Mike! The food was amazing.

We were here for a luncheon on a Monday afternoon. Haven't been to steamers for quite some time but we had an enjoyable meal. I really can't comment on the menu variety because we did not order off the menu for our meal. Looking at it now it seems like they have a nice variety of food offer. The menu consisted of fresh rolls house made. They were delicious. We also had a side salad which was average. It did not take away from the mail but it didn't help either. The entree was chicken parmesan. The chicken was perfectly cooked tender and moist in the middle and crispy on the outside. The sauce was enjoyable but again was not the star that it should have been. Servers were friendly and the restaurant was clean. I would recommend stopping you for dinner if you have a chance.

I've enjoyed dining here several times, and each time the experience has been great. The quality of the food and its preparation is always top notch. The service is always very good; the wait staff checks with you often to see if you need anything. They're good without being obtrusive. They have a full bar, and lots of seating in the restaurant. Great place to gather with friends!

The elegant atmosphere, complete with white tablecloths and candlelit tables, makes for a memorable dining experience. The service was absolutely exceptional from start to finish. Our appetizer was phenomenal, especially the crab cake--it was one of the highlights of the meal. We also tried the crab mac & cheese, which was rich, flavorful, and definitely worth ordering. The portions are on the smaller side, but by the end of the meal we were completely satisfied. Our only disappointment was the fish entrées, as both were a bit overcooked. Aside from that, everything else was excellent. Overall, it's a gorgeous restaurant with outstanding service, delicious appetizers, and a wonderful atmosphere. We'd gladly return and would recommend it for anyone looking for a special night out.

The restaurant appeared to be clean and for a week night there was a decent crowd. I was pleasantly greeted by the hostess and my server was also very friendly. I typically have to be in a mood for a seafood boil but I had eaten at the same restaurant 3 days straight and wanted something different. I played it safe and did the snow crab and shrimp boil in a garlic butter sauce that was very tasty. The corn and sausage were also good. I washed it down with a cold Stella. Overall I have no complaints and would eat here again.

My boyfriend and I weren't really into the King Cajun Seafood Special Sauce. I usually go for house special sauces since they're usually good, but this one just didn't hit the spot. We ordered the hot spice level, but it wasn't spicy at all, and the sauce had this creamy taste--maybe they added flour or cornstarch to thicken it? I prefer my seafood boil sauce to be zesty and spicy. We ended up ordering a side of Cajun garlic butter sauce instead, and that was way better in my opinion. I also wish I had asked for a side of lemon slices (my bad), it would've made the flavors pop more with some extra zest and tang. One thing I really liked about the restaurant was that their seafood sizes were enormous! The shrimp and crawfish were jumbo-sized, and the Dungeness crab was packed with meat. Oh, and a heads up, when we ordered extra corn, we thought it would be three cut pieces, but I think it was actually three whole corn cut into thirds. So yeah, no need to order extra corn unless you really love it. We ended up leaving with a whole bag of corn. I guess that will be my lunch and dinner for tomorrow.

The first course was complimentary breads with olive tapenade. The breads were so rustic and delicious. The olive tapenade was a great dipping sauce. For appetizer, I got fried calamari. It was a modern Italian twist. The fried calamari was so tender. It had light breading. It was fried together with olives, sun dried tomatoes, sliced shiitake mushrooms and some basils. It was so good that I kept eating it. For entrees, I got the bone-in CAB ribeye. It was cooked medium rare. The steak was juicy, tender and had a little bite to it. The asparagus was great in the dish. However, I was not too keen on crispy potatoes with Gorgonzola cheese. The cheese kinda made the potatoes a bit salty. I didn't enjoyed it at all. The beef short rib was another entree I tried as well. It was tender but the flavor was not deep and complex. Overall, the restaurant did a good job with the food. I would come back if I am ever in the area.

I don't drink anymore, so seeing a non alcoholic drink section was nice to see. I was made aware that the base of the Aplos was very herbal and tart. The first one brought to me was very tart. Very, very tart. I was not a fan, my dad was going to drink it, our waitress: Deja noticed and offered to have it remade. I accepted, the bartender came out to drop it off and explained how she changed it up. She stood by me and waited until I tried it. A bit much, it was better. The tartness was only at the end for a brief moment. They didn't have a specific gluten free menu, but Deja did tell us what was naturally gluten free and/or could be modified. A lot of the food is made in house. A lot of it looked appealing, but they had gluten free noodles that were not made in house. So I went with a trusted filet mignon cooked medium. The demi glace was an excellent touch. The potatoes were pretty good. The broccolini wasn't what I was hoping for. My parents dishes were much larger. Leftovers were had and enjoyed on a second day. I would maybe try the short ribs next time we would go. The building is very rustic and decorative. The bathroom is upstairs; an elevator is present is needed. A very interesting place. Staff and kitchen very accommodating. The prices are high for the amount you're given. Would love some in house pasta that is gluten free with an in house sauce. I was there primarily for the company. Not my favorite spot. I would be willing to go again.

I don't say this lightly...this is the real deal…read more I'm originally from South Florida, and I've spent time in Jamaica, so I'm very picky when it comes to Caribbean food. I've had a lot of "close enough" over the years...but this? This is authentic. This is the kind of food that makes you pause midbite and just nod. Dalia's isn't your typical restaurant, and that's part of what makes it so special. It's set inside what feels like a home, and when you walk in, that's exactly the experience...you're not just a customer, you feel like a guest. It's warm, personal, and genuinely welcoming in a way you just don't find in most places anymore. And I have to say...everything is spotless. You can tell she takes pride not just in her food, but in the space she's inviting you into. And she carries that same care into the food. I've been here multiple times, and what impresses me most is the consistency. You know how some places wow you the first time, then slowly fall off? Not here. Every single visit, the food has been just as good as the last. That alone is rare. Now let's talk about the oxtail... Fall-off-the-bone tender, rich, deeply seasoned...but perfectly balanced. Not overly spicy, not bland...just enough heat to remind you you're eating proper Jamaican food. And unlike a lot of places, you actually get meat here. Generous, satisfying portions that feel like someone cooked this for you on purpose. The rice (and yes, it's seasoned beautifully...more like a classic Caribbean rice than traditional peas and rice) is the perfect base, especially when you ask for a little extra of that brown sauce over the top. Trust me on that. The cabbage has a nice little kick to it, cooked just right...not soggy, not raw. The plantains? Sweet, caramelized, exactly what you want them to be. And I have to mention the mac & cheese because it surprised me in the best way. Creamy, with a perfect cheese pull, but not heavy or overwhelming. It's balanced...comforting without being too much. One of the things that really stood out to me is the quality of the meat. I actually asked her about it, and she sources locally from a farm...which explains a lot. You can taste the difference. Also, pro tip: call ahead. Her food is fresh and made with care, and she does sell out. I usually let her know what day I'm coming and what I want, and she's always incredibly accommodating and kind about it. The first time I came, she even gave me a sample plate with a little bit of everything...and there wasn't a single thing on that plate I wouldn't order again. This place isn't just a restaurant...it's an experience. It feels like sitting in someone's home, being fed with pride, skill, and love. Honestly? It's a hidden gem, and places like this are getting harder to find. I'll be back again...and again.

After almost 9 hours of traveling, we needed takeout that hit the spot. I found Dalia's online and haven't had Jamaican food in way too long. Am I glad we came here! I was immediately greeted by Dalia and a sweet young lady who was helping her. And though I was getting takeout, she generously gave me a sample plate. Everything was amazing! I wish we could have stayed to eat as the restaurant is a converted home and has such a welcoming vibe (we had our dog in the car so we sadly could not stay). We ordered and enjoyed the Bar Jerk Chicken and Stew Chicken. Both were delicious and perfectly seasoned with just enough heat. The rice and peas were yummy as was the cabbage (which I'm usually not a fan of) and the plantains were phenomenal! We also got a small side of Mac and cheese because, well, why not?! The portions were very generous and we have plenty of left to enjoy again tomorrow! If you're in the area, check this place out. You and your belly will be very glad that you did!!
