Though busy, the folks working were super nice in answering all of our questions and concerns prior to starting our time. Range is extremely clean, well maintained, and the staff working make you VERY safe. Definitely a priority here. Couple notes before you go: - Targets must be purchased at the range, but they are cheap. Don't bring a ton of extra money as it isn't needed. - It gets chilly in the winter, wear a light jacket. - Make sure all magazines are unloaded so they can check them for metals that are not allowed. Kids were welcome here and there were quite a few shooting. The range master is good about letting you work with and supervise the littles. Have fun!

The public area which can be used by any one is fairly large about 20-25 lanes wide and about 110 meters max distance. I believe if you go when they are open to the public its $7 or so. Also you can pay for targets there if the shop besides it is open. If not bring your own. They have cardboard backings you can tape your targets on to. The people that run it and work there are usually pretty friendly. Just don't be dumb and always pay attention to when the range is hot and cold.

I had zero expectations, and I cannot rave ENOUGH about this place. When you get there they run through all the safety rules, and how the session is going to go. They were so clear and knowledgeable about everything, I didn't even have any questions! The guys that worked there (we found out later they were volunteers)- were honestly the best part of the experience! We had one girl in our group that was pretty nervous, and they were so good about being near her and helping her have fun. I could have talked to them for hours! You can tell they genuinely love being at the gun club, esp since they are coming in as volunteers. And they were just beyond friendly and helpful. I found a new skill that I never knew I had- and I loved every minute of it! We ended up going another round since the first was so great. Paying is super simple too, I was able to venmo them but they accept cash as well. I was sad to leave but if I ever make it back to Park City, I will definitely be taking my crew back to Kama's!
