I went to the Logan Aquatic Center for the first time a couple of Sundays ago and was impressed by…read morethe local culture. Pool regulars had erected tents, set up beach umbrellas, and laid out vast swaths of blankets and towels to stake their claim upon the grassy area near the slides. Others allowed their belongings to spill across picnic tables and pool chairs. However, these areas had all been deserted in favor of the crystal clear pools and curling slides. In all, there are three pools at the Logan Aquatic Center: a lap pool, a leisure pool, and a diving pool. There are also two moderately-sized water slides. Concessions are available, though I didn't check them out. Life jackets are available to rent for free for the duration of your visit. My companions told me that the place is a zoo on Saturdays. Though it was busy on Sunday, it wasn't crowded. One good reason to go on Saturday (if you qualify) is that people with disabilities and their families can swim for free from 9-11:30 am. I found regular admission to be surprisingly cheap. For $5, I could swim all day. The Logan Aquatic Center is a great place to spend the day! I'm glad I went and will definitely return before the end of the summer.

Well done community pool, very popular daily and crazy busy on Saturdays. Locker room is kept pretty clean. There is plenty of room here for future expansion, like possibly building a covered indoor pool like Kearns Oquirrh Rec Center did a few years back in the Salt Lake City area. There's plenty of room for a splash pad too. Honestly, it may be more of a 3.5, but it's well kept, has adequate safety team, and I enjoy lounging on their freshly mown lawn.

I'm still amazed Logan city has no indoor pool for the community to use in winter. The only options…read morewithin the city in wintertime are buying an expensive Sports Academy membership, or struggle to find parking up at the USU Hper. It's a real shame Logan city sold Municipool years back to some unreputable private scuba company that closed it to public swimming. Well, enough of the history lesson.. Sky View pool is a decent option for family swimming. It has limited weekday hours during the school year, 6-8pm, but Saturday open swim is 1-8pm. Considering it's now over 50 years old, it's clean and well maintained. Lockers rooms are dated but pretty clean, have free lockers if you bring your own lock, showers heat well and have a lot of pressure. Life guards are well trained and keep it safe. It has a low 1 meter diving board at one end, and two basketball hoops at the other. But their balls are all worn out or flat, so be sure to bring your own if you really want to play. Lap swimming is 5-6:30am for you early birds, with water aerobics afterwards. Sky View is the best value around, only $2 per person, cash or check only. USU Hper was $5 per last I checked. It can get crowded on Saturday afternoons, but the kids love it. Mind you, it's just a lap pool. No water slides, no kiddie area. It is what it is, but I'm glad we have it.

Always freezing cold! Showers are not good for babies as the water sprays so hard. No steps into…read morethe pool only ladders. Price is good but even then I'd rather go somewhere warm and more kid friendly too bad there aren't a ton of options in cache valley.

Cute little hot springs resort situated amongst the trees in rural Idaho. We did not camp here, but…read morewe did come for the hot springs & pool as part of a family gathering. The grounds were clean and staff were courteous. Passes for the hot springs and/or the pool were not cheap, but we made it an all-day affair and felt we got our money's worth. As I understand it, you can bring in your own snacks and drinks to consume in the park area off to the side of the main pool area near the infant and toddler wading pool. There are several picnic tables under pavilions as well as tables with umbrellas for shade. They do offer a variety of food in their cafe. I don't particularly feel the food was incredibly expensive considering what other places with captive audiences pay (such as theme parks). Our food, drinks, ice cream, & slushies were all what I'd expect from a small food/snack bar. Service was quick considering the crowd. Everyone had a lot of fun swimming, soaking, & sliding down the multiple slides. There is something there for every age to enjoy. Oh! Also, they do have some amenities in their lobby such as towels, goggles, sunscreen, snacks, drinks, etc. Some items are used & left at the park for future budget conscious patrons to purchase on the cheap in the lobby as well - nothing gross, everything was clean upon my inspection. I would recommend this as an all-day get away for anyone.

We went the day after Christmas and there weren't a lot of people there, but the pools were clean and warm. The snacks were fairly priced, and they had some last minute needs in case you forgot anything, very fairly priced as well. Not a bad place to come to just soak and relax.
