I had my first acupuncture session with Eileen at Advanced PMR in Manalapan on Friday. I have had…read moreseveral acupuncture sessions with different people throughout the last two years. The procedure was robotic. They came into the room, placed needles in my body, left, and returned to remove the needles, and sent me on my way. My session with Eileen was not only about placing the needles in my body. Before we started she discussed how our body's energy can get blocked and how acupuncture can help. She also used e stim with the needles. I recently went through a stressful situation. I have been in a lot of pain in my upper back and neck area. With just one session my range of motion has increased and I was able to sleep without the back pain I have been experiencing. I can skip the chiropractor visit as well. I am feeling things move back into place. When Eileen removed the needles she also massaged my neck and upper back where I was experiencing the most pain. It was the best acupuncture experience that I have had. I am looking forward to our next session.

She is professional, thorough and very knowledgable about her specialty, and beyond pleasant and friendly. She has addressed my hand and neck discomfort and is continuing to do so as the appointments progress. I have used many practitioners in the area over the years for neck and back problems and none have approached my situation as well or as positively as Raphaella. I am very happy that I found her and will continue to recommend her without reservation whenever possible. My wife and I did some research on Chiropractor's and how they can help with the problem. We visited him and felt safe going through with the process. He educated and reassured us that this was safe. After a few sessions, his sleep routine improved. I highly recommend it if you decide to go down this route. Dr. Brockstein also treated my golfers elbow, or tendinitis on my inner elbow which was from weightlifting. Again, he patiently educated and treated my ailment and after a few sessions, my pain went away and I was back to lifting heavy. I've tried other methods of ART and platelet therapy, but I believe his technique worked best. Highly recommend!

I also appreciate that he is not pushy. Definitely worth checking out, I highly recommend Dr. Russell.

Call me a skeptic. I'm a very analytical person. I like logic. I love to research and I love fact…read more And I'm usually skeptical when I see a place has all five-star reviews. My ENT doctor was also skeptical when I asked if he thought I could find relief from my daily vertigo and dizziness episodes through a chiropractor. He actually waved the idea away as if it were ridiculous. But what is ridiculous is that neither he nor my neurologist could make my daily episodes of vertigo, motion sickness, and overall dizziness stop. I gave them a year, tried all their drugs and exercises and then threw in the towel and gave Upper Cervical Chiropractic a shot. I remember walking into their office two months ago. I had taken my rescue medication in hopes I wouldn't have an episode in their office. We live an hour away and my husband drove me. I was terrified to be so far from home and dizzy. Despite the medication, I was shaking like a leaf from nervousness. We met Dr. Arbeitman first. He came out to the waiting room to greet us by name- even my husband. This definitely wasn't some practice with tired employees just trying to make it through the workday. The receptionists are so nice and personable and always seem happy to be there. They presented a care plan of so many visits for x amount of dollars. They made big promises. Someone had told me that if a medical practice offers a package deal like that, to RUN. Perhaps it was because if I ran, I would land on my butt from dizziness, but I didn't run. I paid. And so began the absolute best medical care I have ever received. I was a little worried about cracking joints. It gives me the heebie-jeebies to think about it. I can't even stand listening to someone crack their knuckles. But there is no cracking at all. It feels like a light massage. It's very relaxing and I look forward to my appointments. There's a total of 5 doctors and I love each of them (I have a favorite but I'm not telling which ). When you walk into the office, you swipe a card and the (AMAZING) receptionists direct you to a treatment room where you swipe again. There's a monitor there which displays your information for the doctor. The doctors are prompt; the wait is usually less than 2 minutes. They're always happy to see you and they remember details about you from idle chit chat. It's unlike any medical doctor I've ever had and I just love it. I also found out that have morning meetings where they discuss all the patients coming in that day and what the treatments will be that day. Seriously, what conventional doctor does that?? After a month of 3 x week treatments, I didn't need to take preventative medication to go in. Six weeks later, I was still having daily dizziness but the spells lasted less than 10 minutes. And today, 3 months later, I haven't been dizzy for 2 weeks. I'm getting my life back. The progress we've made is undeniable. This healing journey for me has soured me on my current doctors. How dare they proclaim that I'll just have to learn to live with this dizziness? How dare THEY not do the research and advise me that a chiropractor could help. I lost a year and a half of my life because of their skepticism and because of my misplaced trust. So yes, definitely RUN when presented with a treatment plan from an upper cervical chiropractor, but run TO them, not from them. Dr. Arbeitman's practice is a lifesaver and all those five-star reviews are most definitely warranted.

The caring, compassionate office staff, the attention to detail and customer service is all an added benefit. From the personal phone calls from Dr. Arbeitman to the handwritten notes you receive in the mail, you too will feel very well cared for when you become a part of the Upper Cervical family.
