The loan was presented as a helpful solution, but the terms were extremely one-sided and ultimately set me up for financial hardship. There was little to no transparency about the long-term consequences. What seemed like a short-term fix became a long-term financial nightmare. When I attempted to renegotiate or seek support, the tone shifted to pressure and threats. I was left feeling trapped and betrayed. It caused severe stress and disrupted both my personal and professional life. It took three separate attempts to find a lawyer who truly believed me and understood what was happening -- and who could prevent them from taking my house. Once proper legal scrutiny was applied, the situation was finally exposed for what it was. I strongly advise anyone considering doing business with Kaye Financial to read every word carefully -- and run it by a trusted attorney or financial advisor before signing. I am a picky and difficult client and in the past I had frustrated realtors by taking over a year to make a decision. Bill was able to really draw out what I was looking for and help me find hopefully my last home within a matter of weeks. I had been living with and taking care of my elderly mother and when she passed I had to find a place quickly. Home prices were very high at the time and my finances were tight. I called Adam's Realty and explained my situation. Bill offered to rent me a small home, as they own a number of rentals in the Royal Oak area, and suggested that I take my time looking. I decided to wait a year and a half for prices to come down. It truly gave me peace of mind during a difficult time and allowed me to move forward confidently.
