Very poor customer service. Told me when I called to file a claim, that I had a "used roof" and…read morewould not be covered. I explained roof was replaced in 2011 and was a architectural roof which should be good for 20-25 years. Woman I talked to said "if you choose to file a claim they would probably raise my rate or cancel my policy! I told her I had set up appointments with (2) roofing companies to get estimates for repair or replacment, and that they could send their adjuster to see damaged roof and ceilings. She said, no we don't do it that way. You need to get estimates and decide who you want to use. If it isn't not over deductible amount of $2,024 dollars, then it's not covered. I was very angry and chose to get roof replaced as both roofing estimators said it was Hail damage and existing roofing wasn't available anymore. I went ahead and had roof replace, but had both roofer take pictures of damaged roof and ceilings. I paid over $17,000 to get house re-roofed and fix ceilings. I filed claim, and State Farm denied claim! Very little help from agent. Beware of Mike Lewis Agency!

I happened to see on Dave Ramsey's website that Sparks Insurance was one of their recommended companies as an independent agent and Liberty Mutual had just increased me one too many times. I called around for pricing from several independent agencies and Sparks came back with the best rate. Maddy was the rep who reached out to me and she was very helpful. She was patient with me and answered all of my gazillion questions, and was super nice. They ultimately saved me hundreds of dollars over what my Liberty Mutual policies had increased to.
