Yelp is a rough game these days where attention spans are tiny and its a challenge to have people make the effort to write something good. But its no problem crushing you over not returning a few emails, or saying you will return a call and spacing it in 2021!!! Hilarious they took the time to write that bad review then, well working from home and frustrated with no dog to kick I suppose yelp makes sense.. But following a prolonged forced lockdown, a deadly pandemic, at height of vaccine tensions, and a nation adjusting to a new dystopian reality trying not to strangle each other in lines. Yea I think I stopped reading emails more than once a month a year before that. lol. All reasons I highly recommend therapy to people because having an objective third person in the room listening to your narratives and observing your affect can be tremendously helpful to everyone. An experienced therapist can help you navigate through your blind spots, misperception, bad habits, and help you edit a poorly chosen personal narrative or even a nasty internal dialogue. So I would highly recommend making an appointment. My only suggestion would be to simplify what you do for marketing a bit. Not sure what these all mean and clearly a lot of overlaps. And Master NLP Practitioner? That could mean a lot of things and some problematic. Also you need to add more of you with some photos, pet pics, and personal choices. Never got better advice than be yourself, it has a power to resonate that is magic and authentic. Working with John changed my life. If you grew up thinking therapy was for "weak" people, you and I probably heard similar things. When I first started meeting with a therapist, I was embarrassed. I didn't tell anyone because I thought my friends would think less of me. I thought strong people didn't need therapy. I soon learned that the opposite is true. Working with a therapist can sometimes bring up things that you never realized about yourself. Being willing to learn about yourself takes courage, especially when what you're learning is that you are hurting another person, or people. It takes strength to expose yourself and your flaws to another person, and create a plan for how to change the things you hate about yourself. Many people think, "I don't need to be fixed," and that's probably true! A therapist is not a fixer. A good therapist will sometimes be a coach, sometimes a teammate, but either way, will always be in your corner; and that is exactly what John has been for me. We hire personal trainers, business coaches, consultants, etc. We see doctors, dentists, chiropractors, and all manner of specialists, but most of us will avoid therapy at all costs. If you wish you had someone to talk to, someone who won't judge you or shame you for your flaws, I unreservedly recommend meeting with John. If you are anything like me, it will change your life. But first, get rid of the belief that therapy is only for the weak! Or, just call your therapist your life coach :) John, I sincerely appreciate you always making me feel important and heard. This imposter of a "life coach" contacted Yelp to have my review removed. I feel it is my absolute duty to inform potentially swindled clients of the scam this individual is running with his "practice". I think this John guy needs a life coach himself! Completely unhelpful and only out to steal a paycheck. I was less than amazed. John provided little guidance on our first meeting, but instead suggested I try absurdly cliche rituals and practices in order to find guidance. If I wanted to be told to drink tea, I would have gone on the internet. Not paid a "life coach". This man is running a scam operation and taking advantage of desperate people who are willing to try anything to get control of their lives. He should be ashamed of such blatant thievery. Wow, suprised to see good reviews for this guy. I saw him once last week with my daugher. She was a gymnast with a mental block. He forgot to take my payment info. I called him back with it, and gave the FSA card number and he either got the number wrong or didn't bill it as healtcare, so instead of just asking, he threatened me with collections if i didn't call him back...mind you, after leaving one message in the morning which i got at 1pm. Really?? Further, he did NOTHING for my daughter with a mental block except recommend drugs for her to take before practice. Oh wait, she flies around flipping on crazy high equipment and she is going to do this groggy, on meds? Felony stupid. Lastly, despite the fact he knew we were coming and exactly why, he hadn't researched the sport at all and we basically spent an hour explaining it to him. Mind you, my child wouldn't say a word to him and he couldn't bring her out at all. Great skill for a psycholgoist. All this for the pleasure of 150.00 bucks....what a WASTE OF TIME. read more
