It cuts grass, it sounds cool, it looks cool and it hasn't broken yet. I'm sure there are other shops offering competitive prices but I haven't seen them. If it's a good, honest and most importantly, independent business that you're after then get your garden machinery here.

I have tried to call Avon Garden Machinery / Mower Supermarket twice a day since and left a message once a day. The phone hasn't been answered and they haven't called me back. I sent an email daily asking for an update as to when to expect delivery and haven't received a reply. Because they refuse to speak to you, you will be left having to go through a chargeback process with your bank/credit card to get your money back. Companies like this are the modern day highwaymen. purchased a stihl hedge trimmer display model from their Cirencester branch…read more I ask the question if theirs anything not right with the trimmer could I bring it back I was told yes and at no point was the trimmer checked over.i went home used the trimmer for 20 minutes then when I went to clean it to put away noticed the two adjustment screws in the carburettorswas broken off inside of carb took the machine back and was offered a full refund I said could they not send me a new carb they said they would ask their manager next day I received an email saying they would not pay for the carburetto so I took the machine back into store then was told no refund possible it has to go back to stihl for a accessment which I was asked for £22.50 for this action I declined payment no one in store had any clue about the machine so now I have to wait six to eight weeks for them to review the stihl please don't use these unprofessional stores go to proper trained outlets it no different to being scammed on line very disappointed is an understatement having to go through standard of fair trading and soliciting is going to be very time consuming

Seemingly there was an issue with their tills so they would only serve account customers or welfare issues. Mine was indeed a welfare issue requiring bandages and poultices for a hoof abscess. This was radioed to the shop but apparently not considered 'welfare'. I had cash and said not to worry about change as I was desperate for the dressing. This was still refused. Having used this store since 1998 I am more than disgusted. Perhaps you would like to provide your definition of 'welfare' for future reference. However this appalling customer service attitude does not surprise me with the staff who are generally more interested in gossiping and eating in the office than serving customers.
