I found from the moment you get off the elevator you are greeted warmly and you know immediately you are more than a number like you might find in some larger practices. The staff, hygienists and certainly the doctors work hard to provide their patients with superior care. I have never had a bad outcome and every procedure starts with a thorough explanation of the problem and how it will be fixed. I like knowing what to expect. Both doctors are also very involved in supporting their community and give hundreds of hours of free care to the less fortunate amongst us during the Doctors of the Heart program. Over the years I have seen other dentists but I remain at this practice because they are great people and they give the very best of care. Exceptional quality and perfection has become the hallmark of this practice. At an age where my husband, who considered Dr. Don a friend for years, has passed, my children have grown and have families of their own, and my medical practitioners have all retired, it was clear that Dr. Don chose the Ultimate Best in Dr. Samantha King to replace him. The staff is kind, friendly, and efficient, so it remains a pleasant atmosphere and experience for everyone. I look forward to my dental appointments, and even through the pandemic, there was a certain relaxation knowing that a secure ventilation system was installed for the safety of staff and patients. I do miss Dr. Don patting me on the shoulder as I sat in the chair, inquiring about my granddaughter (also his patient) at college in Colorado when he often inquired about her, but he still yells "Hi" to me when he cycles past my home in Kittery Point. I would give this dental practice ten stars if it were possible.

Every person I interacted with here, Katelyn being the friendly voice I spoke with most, was AMAZING. Today I had my surgery, 12 teeth removed under anesthesia. Stephanie made me completely comfortable, she and Dr. Pak had me sedated easily, painlessly, and quickly, they were great communicating with my husband, post surgery has gone amazingly well, not nearly as much drainage as I feared. My biggest complaint of the day was my missed morning coffee. I very highly recommend this office and I am so grateful to everyone there for getting me through this.

A previous surgery with another oral surgeon left me in agony for 9(!) days; an appointment with another oral surgeon took months to set up because he wanted medical clearance from my doctors for my high blood pressure. Seacoast didn't play games, got right down to business, and, although I was in pain the day of the surgery, within 24 hours I felt, if not pain-free, comfortable enough to not need pain medication. The practice was closed for vacation and renovations and I ended up with a horrific infection and tooth broken in half, fever, miserable . He texted right back and sent in a prescription for an antibiotic and saw me the next morning. He X-ray'd my mouth found the problem, called around found an oral surgeon with an emergency appointment and I had the tooth extracted an hour later. Something to note, Dr Amidon was going through a person loss that was happening at the same time yet took the time to see me. The office staff is terrific and accommodating and for someone like me (who doesn't enjoy dental procedures) it helps that they are all so kind and patient. Easy to get to, COV safe and easy parking. They are very caring.
