I'm so sorry...that I have to give this "surgeon" one star. There really should be an option to…read morewithhold that undeserved rating point. This pathetic excuse for a practitioner strung me along for the better part of a decade. He never showed up for appointments, instead sending unqualified PAs in his place to deliver advice that was not very helpful. He finally appeared from the shadows last summer, scheduled me for surgery on 7/1/25. I did everything he asked to be ready, went to every doctor with whom he shared the bounty of my insurance payments and co-pays. His lackeys told me all month, and the months prior that all was good...even days before the procedure was to take place. I literally jumped through every hoop. But in the end I should have known...I should have worn my Charlie Brown zigzag shirt and football helmet. Because this (@#$%&) pulled that football away just 21 hours before. And like the Wizard of Oz himself, he told me to comeback when I lose 50 pounds (and probably would not need surgery); and this after I already lost the 25 pounds that he and his flying monkeys told me to lose to qualify. Shame on this horrible practice and their awful "leader."

I drove in 4 weeks and bowled in 5. I found Jim to be a really qualified PA. I asked around before my surgery and Dr. Koenig name came up over and over. Oh. some will give a low rating but thats all spite for unknown reasons. I could never expect a better outcome. my name is Carmine and I give Dr. Koenig and his staff permission to give my number out anytime. I'm a fan my name again is Carmine

This NYU Langone facility is easy to find. Parking is easy with a very large parking lot. Also,…read morethis location is in a good school district and feels well-maintained, safe, and well-resourced. The facility is bright, clean and modern. The staff members are welcoming and friendly. The care team here is patient, kind, reliable, caring and understanding. The doctors accommodate my special needs by extending my appointment times to 30 minutes when needed. One experience especially stood out to me. I passed out at the reception area, and another patient immediately called for help. The nurse and nurse practitioner immediately came out, helped me onto an exam table, and stayed with me until I fully regained consciousness. They showed genuine concern for patients safety and well-being, and the nurse practitioner even escorted me out to the parking lot afterward. That level of compassion and attentiveness meant a lot to me. I have had very different experiences in the past at Charles B Wang Community Health Center, an Asian clinic, and that's one of the reasons I decided to move my care to NYU Langone. Here I feel safe, respected, supported and taken seriously as a patient. About 90% of the patients here are White, 2% Asian, 5% Hispanic, and 3% African American. Around 70% were born in the USA and came to the U.S. before age 12, 80% came from highly educated families, and 70% are financially well off. I am pleased with the quality of care here and feel comfortable coming here. Even though I am always the only Asian person here, I felt welcomed, safe, respected, and supported, especially as a person with a disability in that environment. As a person with a degree who values quality Healthcare, I highly recommend this NYU Langone facility.

I called NYU Neuro Physical Therapy in East Meadow and was told that my husband can have an appointment in August. Really, August? He will lose everything he built from his home care visits. I wrote this review to make people aware that if you want continuity of care, this is not the place.
