Emergency! My bridge fell out and the tooth underneath was infected. No worries. I was seen within 24 hours of calling. Angie was as sweet as ever, we met years ago under similar circumstances, and updated my info. I watched some news while they finished the other patient, a very short wait. Dr. Stone told me both the good news and the bad, he gave me options (I have other medical stuff going on). And when we thought it was figured out; it wasn't. No complaints, no putting me off. The entire staff worked me in and a major repair was made. Every step of the way I was told what would pinch, hurt, (could get more novocaine but that spot is very sensitive) ....... Thank you Dr. Stone for providing me with the two mini rubber parts to my upper precision attachment. $400.00 for these two tiny pieces and a few minutes of your time is beyond outrageous. About a year ago you charged me $50.00 for one piece. The problem is not the quality of your work, unfortunately, it is the gouging that I can no longer tolerate. Best experience! I was in a lot of pain and in need of a same day visit. I called and they were able to fit me in, yes! Concerned about my pain they telephoned me approximately 15 minutes later and were able to fit me in even earlier! Everyone was very friendly. Dr. Stone is gentle, attentive and knowledgeable. As someone who dislikes the dentist, I felt really comfortable. The office is located behind target/coral ridge mall. There is lots of parking and places to lock up bikes. I had previously given Dr. Stone five stars feeling that he was someone I could trust as of my recent experience I learned that he is not a person I could trust.Dr Stone installed a very expensive bridge on the upper left side of my mouth about a year and a half ago. the back molar cracked I went back to him last week and he told me I would have to pay $1000 more to have it fixed because it only had a one year warranty. After reviewing several other dentist in town, common practice is 5 to 7 years warranty which I already knew I feel I was just being taken advantage of and I will not return to his office. I somehow thought I had found the dentist after all these years. I was a patient of Dr. Stone for a partial, as time passed (a couple of months), the teeth begin to wear down and the frame beneath the teeth was visible, I paid over $3000. Therefore, I had to seek another dentist, and to my surprised, I was informed that the material used for the partial was substandard. I then had to pay to have the partial reconstructed with the proper material. As time passed, I returned to Dr. Stone's office to resolve my issue with the partial. Over those years I've seen dentists in different countries when working though out the Caribbean, South America & on the eastern seaboard. Non of then can hold a candle to his expertise. Had a tooth crack during a holiday and went to the only dentist that could fit me in with an emergency appointment in the suburb i lived in. Short story, it was a disaster and so after a ton of research online found Dr Stone and nervously went there to see if he could fix the new issues the other dentist created. This practice was fantastic, it was in a lovely building that was bright, new and clean, and Dr Stone and his staff were so professional, courteous and nice with it. He fixed my issue with my bridge and crown so quickly and painlessly and explained everything and my options along the way. To top it off the cost was the most reasonanble bill i've ever walked out of a dentist with, and i've had a LOT of work done in my life, in 3 different states and 2 countries no less. I honestly could not recommend this dentist more highly . (By the way, i have never written a yelp review before in my life but felt compelled to do this one because when i was in pain doing my extensive research online trying to find a dentist, i did see the horrible review from the Maria M person below. It did make me hesitate for a second but luckily i noticed she had done almost an identical terrible review for another dentist so decided to ignore it. I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Stone and his staff. Everyone in the office is attentive and makes you feel very comfortable. They originally saw me the same day I called with an emergency, which was a huge relief. Was able to schedule my extraction appointment easily, and that visit itself went great. My extraction was on a Friday, and that evening Dr. Stone called my cell phone to see how I was do - absolutely amazing of him. This is my second review for Dr. stone. I finally got all my work completed and finally got over my fear of going to dentist. Dr. Stone is so compassionate and caring. He keeps you calm. All i can say is i hope he never retires. He is highly specialized as a prosthodontist who can take care of just about all your needs. Don't make a mistake of going to a general dentist who does not have the extra training needed. Angie at the front desk is awesome. She treats you like family and is very knowledeable in the field of dentistry. She is a very dedicated and kind person who tries to help others within her job and outside of her job. Too many long visits involved a bridge and crown and never did I see another patient in his office, either coming or going in my time there. Dr. Stone & his assistant were incredibly clumsy with procedures, dropping my prosthetics and other items - and I've had my share of dental work / dentists! Asst's sloppy application of impression material resulted in an unacceptable bridge and my having to go thru the entire procedure again. Yet, Dr. Stone seems to think he and his staff are infallible! Best of all, on my last visit, was told my x-rays from only 6 months prior were suddenly missing...very suspect based on my haphazard experiences! Only hope I don't have future problems in dental areas where I was foolish enough to let him work! :-( read more

John Stone's dentist's staff is intolerable.   He told his assistant to put on a temporary crown & it FELL OUT 1st bite of food when I got home -I was LUCKY I didn't swallow the temp crown.  HAD TO GO BACK 2 have it redone.  NEXT VISIT the actual gold crown did not fit!  Dr Stone GOT agitated.   Had to go back to the office AGAIN after the lab corrected the gold crown.  The Guatemalan girl at front desk is lazy, when you make an appointment she never writes you a card with date & time, so you have to look around for their card to write it yourself from their appointment book.  My home was robbed of everything including my clock radio - so I called his front desk girl & asked for a "wake-up call" to keep a teeth-cleaning appointment the next day.  SHE NEVER CALLED, so I slept thru the appointment.  I paid Dr Stone well over $9000 CASH for the dental "work."  Fed up with Dr. Stone's sleazy incompetent 2 dumb assistants who try to stymie his work I had to go to a new dentist. Stone himself is overly-proud & arrogant. I asked how much an implant cost, he arrogantly said, "$5000," which is way over the going rates. STONE pulled a tooth & kept the gold. The correct procedure is to return the valuable heavy gold to the patient & not RIP IT OFF. read more
