Unfortunately I couldn't put off having my wisdom teeth removed any longer and was dreading it. Honestly I would have NEVER had my wisdom teeth extracted especially after two of my friends informed me of their subsequent extreme pain for 4 days which apparently is quite common. Side note: they had their extractions w/ different dentists. If I had known this guy was a miracle worker I would've done this procedure a lot sooner. FYI, I don't have a high threshold for pain and to my pleasant surprise I had absolutely ZERO pain. The next day I had slight discomfort and a little swelling but absolutely no pain and that's what I was dreading every morning when I woke up. I cannot thank Dr Hosseini and his incredible staff for a wonderful experience for something that is commonly associated with pure pain. I'm still in shock that I had zero pain but this dentist has a loyal patient in me for life.

Hadn't been in an embarrassingly long time - measured in years. But no one there lectured me or even cared other than to say well now you're here so let's get everything back on track! In my view everything in my treatment plan is appropriate and necessary for where my teeth are after not seeing the dentist in a while. Charges are reasonable and they accept my insurance. I've sent so many people to city dental. Everyone always thanked me for a referral. The reason why we were so loyal was because the owner was reasonable. Now it just feels like a shiesty operation. Good luck to the new owners. Update: i got my deep cleaning done for $185 at another practice. Saved $800 by going to a reputable dentist that has been practicing for 30 years.

I drive an hour for treatments and pay out of pocket because I'd rather pay a bit more and lose 2 hours of my day than go to my old dentist that took my dental plan. They're that great. My decades of having chompers have been fraught with stress and drama. I'm unfortunate to have inherited my mother's dental problems, and along with it multiple cavities, root canals, and other forms of medieval torture. This had led to an all too common dread whenever dental visits came due, even for routine care. This has now changed thanks to Dr. Perez and his wonderful team. My dental hygienist Gloria has the hands of an angel and the most delicate touch ever. My anxiety the first visit could be felt a mile away. I dare say I felt almost relaxed my most recent visit. I had a crown done with my last dentist (and a root canal with her referred endodontist). This led to months upon months of pain far worse than the pain I had before the root canal. I had to go to a different local dentist to fix the problem, but it took months to get an appointment. Expectedly last month I had dread when I was told I needed another crown. I wasn't in pain, but my previous dentist had done such a deep filling that I knew the tooth wasn't going to last forever. They advised a crown before the tooth cracks unexpectedly. I just had it finished yesterday and my mouth feels 100% normal. Dr. Perez was extraordinarily patient making sure to get the fit and bite just right. This is not a "HIPPA request;" all businesses must comply with OSHA regulations, and healthcare providers are yearly required to receive vaccinations so that they do not pass along illnesses (the flu, hepatitus, etc.) to their patients. Broward Family Dental Care's *refusal* to answer this question means that they may now be falling outside of OSHA requirements, which means that if they accept *any* money from Medicaid/Medicare, Medicaid/Medicare can *refuse* to pay claims, and the office can be fined and even closed if they are not OSHA compliant. If someone won't answer if they *are* OSHA compliant, it would seem to me they are saying they are *not*. Caveat Emptor

Told the dentist that I had a gum infection under the bridge that was resolving, and I only wanted temporary glue in case my gums needed further treatment. Dentist put in temporary glue, but put in so much it overflowed over my gums and tongue. It caused the bridge to not fit right, so he took the drill to reform the bridge. I left and called as soon as I got home, and arranged a return visit asap. Went back and they wanted to charge me $400 to fix what I already paid $200 for. Go here if you want to overpay for disappointing procedures.

The day before my appointment I got a courtesy call , reminding me of the appointment then I was told that I had a balance . I asked how was that and I was told because the insurance didn't pay for a previous cleaning so I said i thought we cleared that billing months ago . I was told by the receptionist that it's my job to file that claim and by her doing that it would be a courtesy. I was a bit confused , anyways she told me when I come in they would handle it . I told her no I think we should take care of it before the appointment because I don't want to be held up by that. She insisted that she'd have all the information pertaining to the billing when I got there. Fast forward got to my appointment I was told I had to pay the balance owed before being seen . She went on to say of all the visits I have never paid anything, keep in mind other patients were there overhearing the conversation I was so embarrassed. I was in disbelief, I said what do you mean I have never paid , I even told her as a matter of fact I was over charged and I told her to credit me on my next appointment. She looked at me as if I was crazy and told me we didn't have that conversation, it was when I pulled up my bank account and showed her the payments then she looked up in the computer and realized that my payment was credited to someone else's account it was then I got an apology. At that moment I was so ashamed of how I was dealt with . And as for that balance it was her and when I said her I mean the black lady the one that is responsible for billing didn't do her job and cause it to show that I owed . Even though it wasn't my fault I was told to still make that payment then I'd get reimbursed I told her no I'm not paying for your Incompetence then I was told I'm sorry we won't be able to see you today .
