She just received yet another phone call canceling her appointment. Do not go here if you are in desperate need of dental care. They have absolutely no consideration for others. I'm incredibly disappointed to learn that my mother has to yet again wait for her cleaning. The staff is rude as well. My mother has a medical condition that requires her to take antibiotics prior to any dental work. She was made to feel like she did something wrong by asking for them to send in a new prescription to the pharmacy because she took the antibiotics before they called and told her the appointment was canceled. He referred me to Dr. Bartling at SWPA Endodontics. I really knew nothing of what a root canal involved...only the horror stories of decades ago. Wow, apparently dentistry has come a long, long way! Not only did he thoroughly explain the possible causes and how it is now done in great detail, put me at ease with how it's done in an approximate 45 min procedure. Left there fully able to go back to work. Absolutely do not want to fail to mention that the staff is outstanding! The procedure is still a bit tedious but nothing like it was described to me by friends in the past. Keep in mind that every case is different I'm sure and everyone's experience may not mirror the total ease of mine, but I can assure anyone that they will put every effort in making it as smooth as possible. Dr. Tomsic deserves hundreds of 5 star reviews. Not only was his work great but personality was five stars as well. I had no pain after the numbing wore off and didn't feel a single thing(I do not numb well and have had a share of horrible dental work experiences) it's now been 24 hours and I don't even need the ibuprofen that was recommended for 2-3 days after the procedure.
