Bad attitudes and slow people run the show. It would be hilarious if it wasn't so terrible. Run away, run far far away. The south side deserves high-quality medical care and this isn't it. Piedmont Fayette is just barely better so keep on driving.

Yikes with all these one star reviews…read more.. Growing up in Newnan, Piedmont Newnan Hospital was a great upgrade and amazing resource for the Newnan community! While every hospital has its opportunities, we are thankful for Piedmont Newnan. In the past few years we have made visits to Newnan Piedmont for a variety of reasons including for me personally, and for family members. Personally I have visited the ER and had no issues with the service, wait times or billing. Quite the opposite, as I was seen fairly quickly, had all the needed tests done, got answers within my initial visit and was able to get a great referral. Definitely better due to NPH. As for other visits, my Father has been in and out several times this year. A few ER visits, and a couple of extended visits. Weirdly enough as I write this review, I am sitting with him in a room as he gets better. Each of his visits have been met with caring staff, all the tests needed, specialists on hand, helpful nurses, friendly support staff and an overall pleasant experience during a not so pleasant time. The hospital is in good condition, remains very clean and is easy to navigate. Parking is plentiful and they even have a chauffeur cruising on a cart to take you from the lot to the door. Overall, glad to have Newnan Piedmont as a resource when needed.

I checked my bracelet and it had a similar first name to mine as well as a birthdate of November 1955. My birthdate is March 1974. The woman just heard my first name and said that I was there. She didn't bother to see that there were two women with similar names. Nor did she check my license or insurance ID to verify it was me. My husband asked to go home to grab something at check-in, and was told no. I finally got called back at 10:30. I was asked to go to the bathroom, and not flush. My BM was still brown. I was asked which solution I was prescribed, but I honestly did not know. Wouldn't they know if they prescribed it for me? I was also asked when I stopped taking pills, and I responded when the person I talked to through your company told me to stop. I was then told to go to the store, pick up (forgot name), and return at 1230. I went to the store as soon as I left the practice, picked up the product. Took an anti-nausea (that was prescribed) pill, and continued to drink the stuff. I believe I finished at noon. Got back to the office at 1230, where there was no receptionist. Someone finally got to me after waiting a few minutes. I told them I finished my drink at noon. They were shocked it took me so long to complete it. I had gastric surgery, so eating and drinking take me a long time. The anesthesiologist said I had to wait to be the last patient of the day because of the time I finished my drink. Completely understood for my safety. It is about 130 now. My husband had a DR appointment at 2 and asked to go there. They would end up saying yes, because he scheduled his appointment after he thought I would be home. I finally got pulled into the procedure room. I had to wait a long time for the doctor to come in. They finally started to put in the anesthesia. The Doctor then started the procedure, but didn't see that I was still awake. They had to place my IV in my other arm. Then I drifted off to sleep. While I was waiting in the pre-op room, I heard the nurses tell other patients about post-recovery. Not once did they tell me. At post-recovery, I had to ask about post-recovery. Honestly, there were to many issues with this office. I will NOT be returning.
