I walked in at 930 as my appointment dictated. My husband told the front desk my first name, took my license, and insurance ID card. He signed all of the paperwork. I checked my bracelet and it had a similar first name to mine as well as a birthdate of November 1955. My birthdate is March 1974. The woman just heard my first name and said that I was there. She didn't bother to see that there were two women with similar names. Nor did she check my license or insurance ID to verify it was me. My husband asked to go home to grab something at check-in, and was told no. I finally got called back at 10:30. I was asked to go to the bathroom, and not flush. My BM was still brown. I was asked which solution I was prescribed, but I honestly did not know. Wouldn't they know if they prescribed it for me? I was also asked when I stopped taking pills, and I responded when the person I talked to through your company told me to stop. I was then told to go to the store, pick up (forgot name), and return at 1230. I went to the store as soon as I left the practice, picked up the product. Took an anti-nausea (that was prescribed) pill, and continued to drink the stuff. I believe I finished at noon. Got back to the office at 1230, where there was no receptionist. Someone finally got to me after waiting a few minutes. I told them I finished my drink at noon. They were shocked it took me so long to complete it. I had gastric surgery, so eating and drinking take me a long time. The anesthesiologist said I had to wait to be the last patient of the day because of the time I finished my drink. Completely understood for my safety. It is about 130 now. My husband had a DR appointment at 2 and asked to go there. They would end up saying yes, because he scheduled his appointment after he thought I would be home. I finally got pulled into the procedure room. I had to wait a long time for the doctor to come in. They finally started to put in the anesthesia. The Doctor then started the procedure, but didn't see that I was still awake. They had to place my IV in my other arm. Then I drifted off to sleep. While I was waiting in the pre-op room, I heard the nurses tell other patients about post-recovery. Not once did they tell me. At post-recovery, I had to ask about post-recovery. Honestly, there were to many issues with this office. I will NOT be returning. read more

I was very disappointed during my latest procedure to find that the previously wonderful Dr. Singh has turned his practice into a corporate assembly line. Colonoscopy is already a very humbling experience, but in 2011 and 2016, I found this doctor to be very personable, conscientious, and sincerely interested in my well-being in his interactions with me. This time, not so. During the days leading up to the procedure, I received constant and redundant texts, calls, and e-mails to "check-in," "confirm appointment," and "review prep procedures" even though I already had done so. Billing at first could not give tell me the costs of the procedure (?!), then waffled several times on vastly different amounts. Appointment was twice changed, even on the day of the procedure, and check-in was very confusing since posted signs and e-mails clearly stated "do not bring valuables" and "no-cell phones allowed," but the person at the front desk insisted, no you MUST bring in your wallet and cell-phone into the room for identification purposes and to contact your ride. Then the doctor appeared not to remember that I'd been his client before. Even though I didn't expect him to remember my face, I certainly expected him to have reviewed my chart. The worst part was post-op. I had clearly explained to everyone involved that I had been slow to awaken from anesthesia in the past, but at exactly 30 minutes after the procedure, I was forcibly awakened by a nurse to make room for the next victim. Not only could I not understand what she and the doctor were saying to me in that state of mind, but when left alone to put on my clothes, I almost faceplanted onto the floor. Waiting room packed wall-to wall. Lab-work for this preventative procedure is billed as diagnostic, and the doctor no longer meets with you to discuss them - you have to go online to the patient portal and bring your computer science and medical degrees to find and interpret them. Would absolutely NOT recommend this provider practice!... husband went in for a routine colonoscopy, with clean results, and ended up in the ER a week later from internal bleeding resulting from the routine procedure... was on the verge of a blood transfusion and ended up staying in the hospital for three days... extensive testing all resulted in clean test results... something occurred during the colonoscopy that led to the internal bleeding... we now owe thousands and thousands of dollars in medical bills... we have been trying to resolve billing issues with the provider for over two months now and they have not been helpful whatsoever in resolving the issues and non-responsive to communication... we are extremely disappointed and frustrated... will be finding a new provider immediately! read more

Dr Singh is meticulous and have provided great care for over a year. He is my permanent GI doctor for helping me through a tough situation. The staff is above average and provides exceptional care. Majority of the time, you may find an exceptional doctor but the supporting admin and support staff is severely lacking. That is not the case here, overall I'd give Digestive Care Physicians a B+ to A- the only small knock on them is that I'd hope they take more time to explain more in layman terms for slow people like to fully understand read more

Just horrible horrible practice. Almost all admin people are extremely rude. It's almost like they are trained to be rude. I have been with this practice for about 3 years. One third of time, they cancel your appointments. Today was one of those days and they canceled my appointment so I called back 20 days later. They said next appointment cannot made until 2 and half months later . I said I cannot wait that long because I have other different issue came up so I'll see another doctor for that. Besides they are the one who cancelled my appointment they should accommodate for that. Then she said suddenly if I see another doctor, the doctor will need to discharge me. Then she said after that I can no longer see him ever. She said I waited for a month to call back the office so it is my fault. In fact it was only 20 days. This is insane. The doctor Rashbaum did not end up fixing my GI issue anyway what is the point of enduring this kind of dictatorship treatment from a doctor's office. They are extremely rude. Stay away from this practice as far as possible. Oh also they have this weird policy that once you see one of their doctors, you cannot see other doctors in the same office. So basically they are banning me from the entire office that is because I am only concerned about this new developed symptom and if I leave this alone it can lead to something serious. This action attitude tells me that they are not interested in your well being but only their own practice, business, and most of all their own pride. Update: A day after this happened, I got a call from my doctor and office manager and they apologized for the front desk person's rude manner. WARNING!!! DO NOT SEE TAMMI (PA) AT THE JOHN'S CREEK OFFICE!!!!! She wanted to prescribe medication before examining my daughter. I had to suggest that she examine her. After examining her, we discussed that we did not just want medication, but rather we wanted to find the cause of her discomfort. She suggested 3 tests, 1 being invasive which we told her we did not want. We decided on one of the other tests. Tammi could not find the code for this test in her computer and was flustered. She brought us up to the front desk and the receptionist also could not find the code. They both were looking through a book for several minutes for a code for a routine test??? Tammi left us there without saying a word and the receptionist called the hospital looking for this code. They had her on hold for many minutes. Finally, Tammi called the receptionist on the phone (she didn't have the decency to come and talk to us directly) The receptionist conveyed to us that Tammi now wants my daughter to have a different test. When asked about this new test the receptionist conveyed that Tammi said it was just " a little invasive." All of this because she could not find a code for a test!!! SO YOU NEED A COLONOSCOPY! One day you may have to have a colonoscopy because you are proactive and want to make sure that your colon remains healthy or perhaps you are having symptoms that indicate further exploration. Either way, I have a great option for you. I have routine colonoscopies to monitor the presence of polyps which have the potential to become cancerous should certain changes occur. If you have never had one and are feeling anxious or apprehensive, allow me to enlighten you. I chose this particular practice for my recent exam because my previous doctor has moved out of the area and I was not interested in returning to the previous practice. At the time that I made the initial contact, I received an immediate appointment and met with the Physician's Assistant. She took my history, we discussed my current status, we scheduled a date for the procedure and "Poof" all was done. The prep that I used was called in to my pharmacy and was ready for pick up within a couple days. It was a very easy process and a week prior to my procedure, I received a call asking additional questions and making sure that I understood the process and had all of my questions answered. On the day of the procedure, I arrived early (Emory at John's Creek), completed check-in and was expedited due to a change in the schedule. My nurses were Nicole and Jason who were both very outgoing and kept me engaged so that I was not focused on the pending procedure. They reviewed my history and the consents were signed. Once I changed into my high-quality cotton gown, (yes, I wanted to take it home), and my warm socks, I received an IV and was wheeled off to the examination room where I met the anesthesiologist, Dr. Rashbaum and the rest of the team. My identity was verified and I received my nasal cannula, and anesthesia. The next thing I know, I am back in my room where my husband is waiting. The entire process took about 30 minutes. After a while, the doctor came and gave me a verbal report and discharge instructions. I will have a follow-up appointment in approximately three weeks and will receive a recommendation for my next exam. Easy-Peasy! ***So yes, the worst part of the entire process is the hunger during the prep process, which has actually evolved tremendously since I started having the procedures. My last meal was on Wed at 9pm. I fasted all day Thursday only drinking water. You have other options on your clear liquid diet but I just prefer water if I am not eating. By 6pm, I took the first dose of the prep which was fairly uneventful since I had minimal food in my system. I was up overnight so I was ready for my next dose at 4:30am the morning of the procedure. Again, no problem. ***I found the entire process to be simple and straight forward. The staff at the practice and the hospital was very professional and simply made a potentially stressful situation very comfortable. I highly recommend this practice and Dr. Rashbaum if you are in need of a Digestive Care Physician. *** Trust me, it is not a bad process and the peace of mind is so worth it! read more

I called the practice based on the reviews and was told that they will not manage the care for anyone with an existing tube. I have been having many issues and was referred to a specialist. This is where I had to go based on my insurance. First, I visit and they request a stool sample and breath test. The sample is to be dropped off at Quest Diagnostics and the breath test is to be mailed in. The breath test at home takes an absurd amount of time to complete, a specific diet prior to, any many other qualifications in order to receive a correct reading. Quest, however, offers a breath test that simply takes an order from your doctor. THEY REFUSED TO GIVE ME THE ORDER. If I went to Quest, it would take around 20 minutes. They not only denied the request multiple times, but they would not give a reason as to why I was unable to complete it there. Second, they loaded me up with an absurd amount of medicine. Symptoms were getting worse and I decided to stop taking all the medication and reconsider my diet. I have been gluten free now for over two weeks and have noticed many improvements. I had requested an allergy test but they felt it was not necessary. Third, I rescheduled an appointment for tomorrow and they called today informing me that they are taking me off the schedule. They want to give the load of medicine time to kick in before evaluating me. I told them I am no longer taking the medicine, and now they are refusing to see me. What has the world of healthcare come to? These people are the worst and I recommend that they be evaluated by someone that knows what they are doing. I see that a few people have reviewed them with five stars, not sure why. read more
