Some sort of bar fight broke out, a guy got cut up really badly and taken away by ambulance. Police responed quickly but that meant 15 officers interrogating witnesses and such for the following hour in front of the bar...not exactly a pleasant Saturday evening... ...Safe to say I will not return, there a lot of nicer bars in Stuttgart ;-) P.S. Went to shoot pool out here on a Sat. night. It wasn't crowded at 9 pm. There was a waitress, which we didn't realize when we initially ordered at the bar, who also administers the pool time. Staff speaks some English. The tables are nice and pool sticks were all terrible. As we were there, it started to get crowded. Problem is the layout of the tables are too close to each other, so you end up bumping into people and gets worse when a group of eight shows up to play at one table. There are a few tables that are on the outskirts that can handle that crowd. Didn't stay too long, but noticed there were a number of groups waiting to play, so go early.

There are not very many seating choices, but the cool thing about Europe (unlike America) is that you can sit with strangers at a table and everyone is cool with it. Beers are pretty cheep, ,50l Dinkleacker 3€. It was Saturday, so eventually the place was sardined with people. They do have waiters who come by and pick up glasses, and you can order drinks with them, so you don't have to fight to get to the bar. Overall, not a bad night out. They turned the music up about 5 decimals around 10 which was annoying because it was already loud and after that my throat was dry from yelling and I could barely hear my friends who were sitting right next to me. Or I could be getting old. Who knows. Let's just say there's a reason I go to bars and not clubs. Anyway, if you're in to that kind of thing, this is your place. As for myself, I might return on a weeknight where hopefully there are less people in the room.
