If I could give this office zero stars, I would, but unfortunately one star is the lowest rating available. If you are looking for a dental office that treats patients with compassion and professionalism, my experience here was the complete opposite. I left feeling shocked, embarrassed, and completely uncared for during a time when I was already in significant pain. What should have been a simple attempt to get help turned into one of the most upsetting experiences I have ever had at a medical office. I had an appointment on Friday, June 12 at 8 AM. I arrived about 20 minutes late because we were having trouble finding the exact office. I understand being late can affect an appointment, but the way I was treated when I got there was honestly shocking. The front desk lady, Patrice, immediately told me they would not be able to see me and basically started saying they were taking me off the schedule/system. I was in serious pain and simply asked if I could reschedule, but there was no empathy, no patience, and no kindness at all. What really bothered me was that she claimed I had been late multiple times before, which is not true. The only other time I had been there was months ago, I arrived early and had my tooth extraction done that day. I even asked her to show me where that information was coming from because it seemed possible she was confusing me with another patient, but she would not address my concerns. On top of that, I was tearing up because I was in pain and knew that I would not be treated that day, and she and another employee were laughing in front of me while I was trying to explain my situation. In the photo I am uploading, Patrice appears to be almost smiling despite the fact that a patient in pain was being denied treatment based on information I believe was inaccurate. To me, it felt less like an effort to help resolve the situation and more like a display of authority. Whether intentional or not, the interaction came across as unprofessional, insensitive, hostile and dismissive. I was respectful the entire time, but I was treated like I did not matter. I also requested my records and information from the office, and days later, I still have not received them. I left this office feeling hurt and shocked by the lack of care. People come to medical and dental offices because they are in pain and need help. No one deserves to be treated coldly or laughed at when they are already suffering. I personally would not recommend this office based on my experience. read more

I had 2 implants that had failed. The implants were about 25 years old and due to an incompetent prosthodontist bacteria got under the gum and walla -infection. The first surgeon gave a price of 3500 to remove them with general anesthesia, the second surgeon wanted 4000 for anesthesia and a special membrane, Dr. K simply scheduled me for an appointment later in the week. I was in the chair at 11:10 am and was done with a bone graft and NO general anesthesia by 11:55, no pain at all. Price was $1000, he said he could not ethically charge for removing one of the implants because it was already falling out. I have used him on other occasions and he has always been straight up. He is NOT NOT NOT a ripoff . He does not do useless and unnecessary treatments and his charges are very fair. His staff are okay, but I really never talk to the staff. "Hello Mr.S. please have a seat." "Mr. S the doctor can see you now, yes the room down the hall to the left". "The charges for today are xx" That is about all that I know about the staff. I really do not care to get personal. He really is a nice person and a good oral surgeon. A person of integrity and skill. This review is not paid for and I have no relation or employment by Dr. K. Dr. and his crew did something very unexpected for my family and I. I had a tooth that need to be pulled and was in a lot of pain. I Had never been to the dentist before because of my fear of the dentist. I told the doctor this, and he offered to put me to sleep for no extra charge. Before I went room, my wife and I were trying to figure out where we were get all the money from that was needed to pay We had it figured out, but had to call a couple different people to borrow some money and the people at the front desk Seen us trying to figure this. So in the kindness of their hearts, and I suppose being in the holiday spirit, I woke up out of the sleep being told that we are Not being charged at all for the procedure. This helped my family and I out tremendously more than they could probably ever know thank you very much. You have definitely earned a patient for life and have alleviated some of my fear of going to the dentist. Merry Christmas read more

I can not say enough about this office. Dr. Karpinski is kind, caring, compassionate, precise. Have been to his office numerous times and the care is off the charts phenomenal. So unlike many dental offices today where it is all about the money, Dr. Karpinski sees you as a person and truly cares about you and what is best for your oral health. My only problem is, I just wish he was a general dentist so he could be my dentist for everything, not just oral surgery. My most recent visit, he, instead of just simply extracting a tooth, removed decay and put in a medicated filling and relieved the pain. THANK YOU so much for your care, honesty, compassion, Dr. K!! Nov. 18, 2020, Dr. Karpinski and his staff offered to see me immediately at his Fort Pierce office to extract a wisdom tooth. I was unable to schedule elsewhere until weeks later. After verifying by a panoramic x-ray the need, within an hour, Dr. Karpinski extracted my tooth with minimal pain. And, it healed perfectly. I was treated with dignity and respect even though I am elderly. The many reviews raving of his compassion turned out to true! I join the many applauding the gracious reassuring atmosphere in his office while receiving professional care at a reasonable cost. An experience unsurpassed in my lifetime of dental office visits. The staff: Patricia, Marina, and Myra were absolutely amazing! So-o-o helpful. I had had a little "emergency" in which they 'fitted' me right in the same week. It was really needed too, since I had to leave town for an important family event the very next day! The extraction went off without a hitch! Dr. K. was gentle and caring. And friendly, too! ...My prior worrying was needless. ...The tooth was broken below the gum..., but not a problem for the good doctor! Abit of 'numbing juice' and out she came. I had a consultation with Dr Karpinski and he answered all my questions concerning implants. As luck would have it, I then had a molar crack on me and needed to be extracted, this was another area where I would need an implant, although the consultation was for another gap. The molar was removed and implant placed with no pain. Dr Karpinski kept checking with me throughout the procedure, he was very caring and compassionate. This procedure went so well that I later had the original area treated with another implant. In summary, one extraction and two implants and all went smoothly with no pain and great results. I was referred to Dr. Karpinski by my dentist for an ongoing problem with mouth sores. The staff as well as the doctor were all very friendly and professional. My problem was diagnosed and I was given medicine to use for any recurrences. The doctor was very reassuring that the sores were not at risk of becoming cancerous much to my relief. I was given the exam, consultation and medicine- AT NO CHARGE! That was such a pleasant surprise as I have no dental insurance. I have been to Dr. Karpinski multiple times. He has performed two tooth extractions, two dental implants, and repaired another dentist's botched crown placed over one of his implant's. Dr. Karpinski's work has always been exemplary, nearly pain free and with empathy for his patient. His fees have also been much lower than his competitors. If he did routine office check-ups and cleanings, I'd go to him for all my dental needs--in spite of the twenty-five-mile trip past many other dental offices to get there. read more

Absolutely the "BEST" Oral Surgeon I have come across. I am a chicken patient and Brooke and Dr. John Karpinski were the epitome of respect, care and safety for their patients. I started with Novocaine, but ended up going under. I felt zero pain afterwards and was extremely pleased with the professionalism and care the entire staff had for me. WOW!! Amazing experience! I am a new patient so the friendly receptionist asked me to come in a little early for paperwork. No problem. I had a 10:30 appointment and I had my tooth extracted (rear molar) and out the door of his office by 11:03! The staff was very friendly and very efficient. My brother is a slow healer. After a recent extraction, it has taken him much longer to heal than normal. Dr KARPINSKI and his staff have been wonderful! They are so kind and caring.
