The Best Podiatrist and Foot & Ankle Practice I Could Ever Ask For…read more Northern California Foot & Ankle Center of Santa Rosa has cared for me for years, through visit after visit, concern after concern, and I genuinely do not have enough words to express my gratitude. Every single time I have walked through their doors, every level of this clinic has treated me with kindness, dignity, patience, and respect. No matter how many questions I had, how many complaints I brought with me, or what I was going through, I consistently left happier than when I arrived. I have always felt heard, seen, respected, and valued here--not simply as a patient or an appointment on a schedule, but as a human being. And there is something else about this practice that deserves special recognition: They do not mess around with patient care, and they do not take shortcuts. Healthcare today places enormous pressures on clinicians through insurance requirements, administrative burdens, time limitations, and standardized approaches. Yet my experience here has been that this physician continues to advocate for what he believes his patients actually need. One of the greatest examples has been my orthotics. In my entire 36 years of life, I had never experienced anyone approach them the way he did. Rather than simply giving me a generic or routine solution, he personally took the time to create true customized molds in person, based specifically on my feet and my individual needs. That level of personalization mattered enormously to me. And remarkably, the care was covered through my medical insurance because this physician understood how to navigate the system while still pursuing what he believed represented appropriate, individualized patient care. That is what medicine should be. He does not appear satisfied simply checking a box. He examines, listens, thinks, individualizes, and treats the person standing in front of him. There is a profound difference between treating a diagnosis and truly caring for the human being who carries it. Northern California Foot & Ankle Center understands that difference. To the entire staff: thank you for every kindness, every phone call, every appointment, every moment of patience, every concern you have listened to, and every time you have made me feel welcome. And to the physician and owner himself, whom I sincerely consider my favorite podiatrist in the world and one of the finest physicians I have ever encountered: Thank you for healing me. Thank you for refusing to settle for mediocrity. Thank you for taking the extra time. Thank you for fighting for individualized patient care even within the realities and pressures of modern medical insurance. Thank you for making me feel heard. Thank you for helping me walk better, feel better, and leave your office with more hope than I entered with. You are a true healer, and I salute you, sir. I pray that God continues to bless you, your family, your staff, and this entire practice with tremendous success for many years to come. May you continue helping countless patients experience the same extraordinary level of care that you have given me. God bless you, Doctor. And God bless Northern California Foot & Ankle Center of Santa Rosa. Five stars simply are not enough.

I'm honestly pretty shocked. I brought my 80 year old father who has been suffering from severe…read morehealth conditions that have made it difficult for him to consistently treat what has become horrible fungus on his toenails. We were seen by Dr. Tan and he made very little effort to get to know my dad before taking out clippers (which did not come from any kind of a sterile wrapper) and extremely aggressively chopping off big chunks of my dads toenails. My dad was repeatedly saying "ow" because Dr. Tan was hurting him and he made him bleed in both of his big toes even though he knew he's on blood thinners. No antiseptic, no topical pain meds, no warning that it would hurt. His home health nurse was shocked when she saw them. On top of that, he didn't make any effort to file or shape his toe nails (they're just basically clipped in big sharp chunks - see pictures) and essentially told us there's nothing can do to treat the fungus. So we drove an hour there from my dad's house just to have his nails hacked off and not be offered any real solutions (except a cream he said would probably not help) and leave in more pain than he arrived The whole experience was actually shocking and I felt terrible for my elderly dad - his toes are still hurting since yesterday.

Goodness - It's a Miracle!…read more If you listen well to his directions, you'll see great results. My right foot started hurting like hell and my walking gait had become a little wonky. l thought it was residual effect of having a screw removed years ago after a 5th metatarsal break had healed - wrong! Dr Wagstaff showed me my right foot was out of alignment, causing the wonky gait and pushing the side of my foot down into the side of the shoe, making it hurt! Dr Wagstaff showed me a simple stretch to release tension in my Achilles and a temporary set of orthotic insoles. The stretch brought the foot back into alignment, the temporary orthotic insoles kept it there. Dr Wagstaff did a mold of my feet while in his office, picked the orthotics up today. The results are wonderful! I walked out of Dr Wagstaff's office feeling like I was walking on a cloud; no pain and walking straight as a newly released arrow in flight - I call it miraculous! I can certainly recommend the services of Dr Wagstaff - pay attention to what he tells you.

I called once, no return call, to request receipt for services performed. Called back 3 days later,…read moreas he did not return my call. Not what he infers as more than that (multiple times), and I needed a receipt showing what the $375. was for, never have gotten that. Needed to know breakdown of how much for visit, how much for orthotic he fabricated there. Plus he didn't tell me he was fabricating anything, I didn't ask for it, then got bill with no explanation of what it was for. I don't need his visa receipt, visa will provide that, but he needs to indicate what he's billing for. No other store, dr., service etc bills without indicating what it's for. No more replies here. He's not worth my time. He will undoubtedly reply because he always does. Can't help himself. He deserves all the bad reviews he's received.
