I would ask him if he recieved my emails and instead of looking at his computer he would go and look at his phone . I found this peculiarly odd. When it came time to get my taxes done for my company this is when i figured out this was all a farce so I would show up w/appt to pay my bill and question if my taxes are done . This was more CAT and MOUSE than client business relationship March , April , May came and left I had enough . I had to seek out another accountant so I wouldn't get penalized for filing late, this new acct. took less than 2 weeks to get everything done He NEVER responds to your EMAILS if you call it always some vague answer and the last time I showed up with an appt. to confirm if anything was being done he wasn't even in his office the door was locked ALOT of russling and going through papers , I found this weird he came out of the other room with a RED FACE like he had gotten caught with his pants down . I could not even look him in the eye clear indication I CAN NOT TRUST YOU moving forward. I gave him more than enough ample time to clear things up IF YOU WERE MORE THAN HAPPY TO STEAL and I DO MEAN STEAL MY MONEY!, you should've have had enough dignity and respect to file my business taxes they were straight forward nothing to it ! The money wasn't the problem here I never had an issue with my other 2 PROFESSIONAL ACCTS , it's the act of DISRESPECT that is my issue and I'm certain the other clients that you've done this too felt the same! Now to follow up with the 2 other complaints below I STAND IN AGREEMENT WITH THEM as far as that new review IT'S A PILE OF COW PLOP anyone can type that up, that was only done after you recieved my legal binding letter. He had absolutely NO UNDERSTANDABLE knowledge of a ROTH 401 withdrawal and was asking me "does that sound right", are you kidding me! Had he taken the time to discuss the few pieces of paperwork I provided BEFORE starting his online filing, I would have realized "time to get up and walk out"; there was not so much as a calculator on his desk, I had to pull out my phone to use the calculator to provide him some totals, ISN'T THAT WHAT HE IS PAID TO DO! As for the fee; an additional 40.00 charge is quickly added with a fast talking explanation that this provides you with 100% audit support if it is found they did anything wrong, with a hidden line that explains if client gives inaccurate info, it is not H&R issue. Absolutely no confidence this tax filing is accurate and to spend another $250.00 to another firm is not within my budget. As I am leaving and trying to collect the mess he made out of my paperwork, he is asking me to click 5 stars on the survey, I looked at him and told him "I am not doing any survey until I get home and look this over".
