She has more certifications than all of my other therapists combined and serves a wide clientele. She has helped me tremendously, working to become the best person I can be. Her certifications range from Marriage counseling which I have taken advantage of, to being an OASAS certified provider, to being an expert on Fibromyalgia a disease I suffer from. Her knowledge of all facets of mental health has truly led me to get more out of the 2 years/1x a week I see her than the 15+ years of therapy I had been in combined. That is saying a lot because one therapist I saw 3 times a week for 4 years and did not have many breakthroughs. I consider myself very lucky to have found a therapist that I can tell truly cares about my life, because she has been an advocate for me and has coordinated with my psychiatrist, court and probation. I would recommend seeing Ms. Ross to anyone that is having a tough time in life in general, with a significant other or for one of her specialties like anger management or drugs and alcohol. Even if you are not the one using drugs or alcohol but you need help in dealing with someone who is she is fantastic. I cannot say enough positive things about her because when a professional truly helps and understands you it is worth GOLD. Ms. Ross is always on time, always remembers specific issues, most importantly for me she doesn't just let you run away with the session she centers you and keeps you on topic and seems to always know the right thing to say. After being told in writing that they would except my insurance and only have a 31 dollar co-pay, they did not. I paid 150 dollars for an intake fee, which I was informed would be reimbursed at 80 % in addition to the 31 dollar copay each visit. Not only did I never receive a reimbursement from them, but they charged my credit card almost 600, against my will. Michelle was completely unprofessional and disrespectful towards me while dealing with these payment issue. Never once did she tell me my insurance had not paid her, I never received a bill or a breakdown of charges. I spoke to her on a Friday evening about the non payment from my insurance and requested for her to wait until I spoke to my insurance company. I specifically said you do not have the right to charge my card. On Monday, she charged my credit card anyway and sent me a nasty email. I am in the process of disputing these charges and have been in contact with a lawyer. Save yourself the hassle and stress. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!

At 21 years of age I was held in Mather Hospital for 3 weeks. I underwent intensive psychological…read moretreatment guided by Dr. Miguel Delgado. Unfortunately throughout my stay Dr. D spoke to me on occasion maybe twice a week if I was lucky. Beginning my third week stay in the unit I decided to have 3 cups of caffeine that morning because after two weeks of being on intensive medication the side effects were getting to me. When he came to speak to me that day he had notified me that because of my behavior he has witnessed in the last 45 minutes of him being on the unit, I will have to further increase one of my medications. There was no option and when I tried to explain anything to him, he was dismissive. He believed he knew me more than myself. While in the beginning of my stay he may have made good choices that lead me to safety and stability, he never trusted a word I said. He is not a "good" doctor. If anything he needs a psychiatrist. I do not recommend Mather Hospital psychiatric unit and if you have the unfortunate experience of having to go there I hope you do not have Dr. Delgado.

This was very uncomfortable for my wife and Dr Perera acted oh it's okay to stare at my wife while she's in that situation. He had no shame. Complained to the hospital and the administrations refused to discuss our concerns or apologize in person. they called us for a minute and apologize over the phone and didn't even give us the respect to speak to us in person. Doctors at this hospital don't know or care about patients privacy. we will never go back. They didn't even give us instructions on how to take the medications and forgot to send one of the medications to the pharmacy.
