    This is not the first time I've had this issue with this office. Let me preface this by saying I…read morehave been a customer of Allstate for over 20 years but no longer. I reached out to the owner of this location 3 days ago on questions on both policies. As of this writing, 2:42PM Wednesday, October 27th, I am yet to hear back. So I decided to go into the office. I walked in and the young lady was on the phone with from what I can hear an IT issue. After about 7 minutes she acknowledged me and asked with what did I need help? I advised her I wished to speak to someone about both policies. She didn't say anything else and went back to the phone. I sat there for another 12 minutes while she was in conversation. I finally got up and walked out. She said nothing to me as I walked out. I got into my vehicle and immediately called State Farm, GEICO and Progressive. I will NOT be renewing anything with Allstate. You are NOT in good hands if you are dealing with this office in Carmel NY. As I said at the beginning this is not the first time the owner was non responsive.

I called Geico and they gave me a Better policy for $1075 less than my Allstate poilcy. Now my fault for not researching sooner, granted but when I called to cancel with Laura and Allstate, obviously they questioned me. Told them I was cancelling and why. Within 10 minutes, she called me back and said they could save me $600 on the policy. Now why hadn't she done that previous to my renewal? Probably would've stayed with them. Sad that she was willing to Not do her job and review my policy earlier, she could've kept me. My father always said "a percentage of something is better than a percentage of nothing." That is what she now has, a percentage of a big, fat Zero because she chose not to review her customers policy. So sad---very bad business.
