Dr. Mesnier is supposed to be a good ankle surgeon and I have been trying to get an appointment since March 2025. Despite a physician referrral, good insurance, an increasingly unstable painful ankle I can barely walk on, an MRI with ligament and tendon tears, and filling out all the online paperwork, I have yet to see her. It's August. Her office cancelled my first two new patient appointments with short notice. Christina hasn't requested my records or MRI scan, even though I filled out and signed a request with my new patient paperwork. Yesterday I asked if she'd received my imaging and she said "No, I haven't requested it because it takes a really long time for them to send it, so it's the patient's responsibility." I told her I have to cancel and reschedule a half day of my own cancer patients for these appointments they keep cancelling, and asked if she could make my appt on a day when that won't happen. Her reply: "It's not my fault if patients need surgery". Nice. It doesn't seem like they want my business, so I guess it's not my fault if I go somewhere else. Dr. Mesnier probably doesn't know this is happening, and unfortunately this review is the only way to communicate with her. I will happily update it and the rating if I end up seeing her and having a good experience!

I was averse to surgery unless absolutely necessary and a pretty anxious patient, and Dr. Lamprecht exceeded my expectations and is a true healer.

Not only did he not fix it, but because he didn't measure correctly, which he admitted doing, it made her situation more painful with risk of imminent fracture of her femur. Months later he ordered an emergency surgery to install a plate to stabilize the femur, which resulted in an additional surgery and twice the recovery time. My wife has had severe chronic pain in her knee and leg, and after getting a second opinion, can only manage her situation with pain meds, for the rest of her life. I do not recommend Rebound or Dr Sutherland and based on my wife's experience and the mistake he admitted to, believe he is incompetent.

After a year of no bone growth (non-union), I finally found a very experienced orthopedic surgeon who told me that he'd never heard of her, and that her inexperience led to surgical error. The way that she put the screws in lifted the bones apart, leaving a gap that was too large for the bones to join back together. He had to redo the surgery, remove the screws, do a bone graft, and put in a plate. Lara Atwater gave me false hope and never admitted that she botched my surgery. I am so glad that I found an honest surgeon who could fix her mistake. I would never go back to Dr. Atwater after all of the pain and suffering she put me through. Throughout the experience, she exhibited extreme self-confidence in her abilities...don't get sucked in like I did.

I was dreading making an appointment with a specialist before calling sports medicine Oregon. To my surprise making the appointment online was incredibly easy and I was able to complete everything without any need to call and speak to anybody. That was awesome! I don't have a lot of time in my day to call and go through the endless back-and-forth of trying to find a date which works. Of course with any medical provider the equality of service is the most important piece. I felt as if the doctor took the time to understand my problem and to learn what activities I wanted to get back to that I wasn't able to. He suggested physical therapy exercises that I may not have tried before and quickly made a referral to get an MRI after I told him all of the different things I had tried before coming to see them. While no one wants to go see a doctor, if you do need to see a sports medicine doctor, this is the place to go.
