We talked through my desire to add some highlights to blend my root growout and grays into the brighter ends. She was super empathetic and checked with me after lightening to confirm the right toner shade and cut to be sure I was comfortable. I came across New Wave on Yelp and decided to give them a try. Excited to get a fresh new look I plotted their address (via google) into my GPS and headed out, only to arrive at a Dunkin' Donuts... Uh oh! I had previously called to ask if they took walk-ins (which they do) so I had the number in my phone and gave them a ring. It turns out they've moved a little ways down the road and they gave me perfect directions to get to their new studio. When I arrived I was surprised at how great the place looked on the inside! I haven't been to too many salons but this place is beautiful, well kept, and very inviting to be at! The people are all very friendly, and a joy to be around. They have a good stock of Redken hair products which they use and sell, but they don't try to push you into buying something you won't want or need. I was talking with my stylist about different products for styling and she explained what I would need to achieve what I wanted, and was very knowledgeable about the products. I HIGHLY recommend the New Wave Hair Studio to anyone looking for a new look! I can honestly say that this is one of few, if not the first haircut that I've walked out of the salon really loving!
