Everyone I have seen graduate goes on to passing their state testing with little struggle and flourishing outside in the industry.

I was finally able to use my Birthday gift card and wow!!!! What a wonderful experience. I booked a…read more90 minute facial because the price is so reasonable compared to other salons. Of course these are students but they are guided and under the direction of their Educators! I was warmly greeted by the receptionist and April my esthetician. After getting my wrap on which was one of the first that I've felt truly covered in, she had me sit and washed my feet which is a really nice touch. My facial was amazing. Not only did she work wonders on my face, but also massaged my head, shoulders and feet and calves. I'm pretty sure I fell asleep during all of this. April explained everything she was doing and using. She stretched my arms afterward. I was able to tell her Educator what a great job she did and then she showed me some of the products she'd used. I wasn't pressured at all to buy anything. The salon is clean, well lit and inviting. I will definitely be back.

I will update to say that there were two instructors this time in Metairie that were very keen, very kind, and attempted to be present. So, I returned to Metairie to correct my previous visit where there was a weird dark brown streak of hair going down the back of my head from a previous mistake (where the too-dark colour apparently dripped, unbeknownst to me, until I arrived home and looked at the back in the mirror). But this time it was so much worse....this time I got neon yellow hair with orange streaks, and painful blisters from sitting in bleach for 3 hours. I look like a clown. I should have kept the dark brown skunk strip and just hidden it in a ponytail or something. Lesson learned. Now I have to go for Round 3 - after the blisters heal, and pray my hair doesn't fall out. I will never cheat on my Covington location again, I swear!

Only gave 1 star because I HAD to !…read more The ladies upfront were kind, but the admissions lady, Nicole, was very rude . I'd gone in to enroll in the esthetician program to add more services to my permanent makeup business and was super excited about this business venture . She was basically saying my business wasn't legit, because "you have to be an esthetician to do microblading in Louisiana" . Which is not true, so she was arguing with me over something she was actually wrong about, and eventually said "I can't discuss this anymore with you" . Take this from someone who has passed all board of health inspections and has a business in good standing, with certification from a reputable school to do permanent makeup. I should've listened to everyone who'd already told me the staff here was not kind, lesson learned . Reputation and word of mouth is everything !! I will be spending my money elsewhere

My personal experience here was terrible I would never recommend. I only put one star because I had to to wright this review.

The end result is ridiculous, and they charged me $31.00 for this. Here are the photos: http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/jenagbucket/IMG_4988_zpsevfdqhav.jpg http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/jenagbucket/IMG_4999_zpsjpy3osi5.jpg http://i136.photobucket.com/albums/q192/jenagbucket/IMG_4995_zpsjabm49jw.jpg Of course I wanted my $31.00 back, but there are a few problems getting that to happen: the school's unprofressional attitude, and their practice of charging to fix the hair they ruined. They want the same people to fix my hair, which is unacceptable. The school tried to bring up that I signed a waiver for service. Waivers of liability are not enforced in Louisiana because of Articles 2004, 28, 29, 1918 and 1923 of the Louisiana Civil Code. They offered me a different service like a manicure or a facial as an alternative, but I do not want that because I feel their teaching methods are below standard. I want my $31.00 back because I don't think I should pay a company to ruin my hair, and I believe this is a reasonable request. I have filed complaints with the Federal Trade Commission and the Louisiana Attorney General's office. My friend's mother had to pay $100.00 to have my hair fixed. My next step is small claims court/legal action. My advice to you is to think, think, and think again about whether you want to trust them with your hair. BB
