I needed an electrician to install 2 ceiling fans in my new home. I called at 4pm hoping to schedule something for the next day. John sent my info to Tim who responded within 30 minutes. Because he had an all day job the next day he asked if I was available the same evening. Tim came over and my fans were installed within 2 hours without any problems. We received a letter from our homeowner's insurance company on May 6th, advising us that we needed to replace the exterior breaker box and submit documentation of the replacement or our policy might be cancelled on May 30th. They only gave us 3 weeks to get it all done. We searched online and found John Johnson Electric, Inc., a local business with good reviews here and elsewhere. John came to look at the problem on May 9th. We discussed what was involved, he gave us a reasonable quote, and upon learning of our deadline promised to work us in as soon as he could, even on a Saturday. He called on Friday, May 13, to let us know he would be coming the following morning. He and Manny arrived at 9am Saturday. In about 2 hours he not only replaced the offending breaker box, but he also replaced the old aluminum wire running to the meter and to the breaker panel box in the utility closet with heavier gauge copper wire. He also moved the 20 amp circuit breaker for an external outlet from the utility closet to the new exterior box. John worked efficiently and professionally, putting up with my peeking over his shoulder and asking questions; he even offered to take the photos required by the insurance carrier. We have beat the insurance company's deadline by two weeks. We can rest easier knowing we have also eliminated a more serious problem, aluminum wiring, than the insurance inspector had found. We will be calling John in the future for any electrical problems and we give him a well deserved recommendation. read more

I contacted John from John Johnson's electric this morning about connecting a 50 amp plug to my electric panel. He communicated with me right away and asked me for some pictures and an idea of what I needed done. He had his associate Tim come out to assess the work, and Tim was wise enough to pick up what he needed on the way to my house. He completed the work on the spot in a short period of time. He worked in a very neat and clean way. He was extremely polite. He got the 50 amp hooked up to the panel and working in less than an hour. I had called three other electricians and had their estimate. The least of them was in the The $5000 range. All three of them wanted to add a third electrical panel. Tim from John Johnson's electric did not have to add a new panel. Everything is working fine and my tesla is plugged in and charging perfectly. I've scheduled two other jobs for this company as soon as they are available. I highly recommend them. read more

Great experience using this electrician today. We were experiencing a little electrical emergency with our newly installed hot water heater. The outlet suddenly blew out. No power. Called John and he was available to swing by our house this afternoon on very short notice. Much appreciated! He immediately knew what to do, repaired the electrical outlet, and we are back in business, hot water is working again. May I say, he was very nice, and his price to do the work was VERY reasonable.
