I found Dr. Pfenninger to be arrogant, with a poor bedside manner, and obnoxious in his billing practices. This so called Doctor is a real piece of work. Jack of all trades, master of none, and charges more than if you went and saw a real Dermatologist. He is the Kevin Trudeau of Medical procedures. Prays on people who don't want to wait for appts to real board certified Physicians... There's a reason you can get right in to see this guy, and he will fleece you for it. He's all about money, cares nothing for the patient. I found some of the staff to be friendly, other's to be absolutely rude, and don't hesitate to lie to you. He writes a column and has written a book on medical procedures to fool people into thinking he knows and cares about what he's talking about. But it's all about puffing his chest out to look like a big shot. He won't hesitate to tell you and brag about his column. Dr Pfenninger was the most helpful, pleasing, and personable Dr we have ever dealt with. Our procedure was a bit nerve racking, but we were guided so nicely by Dr Pfenninger. Beautiful office, friendly staff, knowledgeable doctor. Overall wonderful experience until you get your bill. This place takes you to the cleaner. I spent 2 minutes with the doctor and 5 minutes getting an IPL treatment (that didn't work) and walked away with a 300 dollar bill. Tell me how that's right when I asked several times how much the treatment would be and I was assured by the doctor no more than 75 dollars for such a small area. Lies. I now know how this one doctor practices out of his own, private, brand new facility....he rips you off and doesn't even provide results. Did I mention this has happened to me twice here? The first time he laser burned the area and made the spot worse. DO NOT GO to this JOKE of a physician, he doesn't know what the hell he's talking about and he'll rob you without thinking twice! from the first phone call I was very impressed. they gave me direction to avoid road construction (never has that happened before). As soon as I walked in I felt comfortable. Everyone was very professional and focused. Dr. Pfenninger took the time to explain everything to me and made sure I understood all my treatment options. My husband had his vasectomy at this office. All went well, healed as expected. I have had a couple of spots on my skin removed, all went well and healing was quick and easy. This is a great alternative to a hospital and all that goes with that. We are "lucky" to have this option right in our back yard. (And by "lucky" I mean Dr. P has made an investment in our community when he decided to stay local.). I had a laser procedure performed - Active FX - and am very pleased by all aspects of the procedure! Other laser procedures can require a hospital visit and are therefore much more expensive. This procedure is performed in their own surgery center and requires much less down time than other lasers. I had the same procedure eight years ago and was thrilled with the results then! As time passed, I decided I would once again use the same location with their great results and awesome personnel and am so glad I did. The one staff member was so rude. I went with my son who is in high school but is over 18 yrs old, I filled out the forms they sent but left them at work! They charged me $10.00 extra for forgetting them. This is the Doctors policy the receptionist said. I would have told them to forget it and walk out but the appointment was for my son, and it was important for him to get it done. When I went to sit down to fill out the papers, all of a sudden the receptionist yells out that my son was old enough to fill them out! Very rude and none of her business. The cost of the five minute procedure was over $500.00. Did they really need to charge me the extra $10.00 for papers that only cost at most $3.00, never will I go back there again! read more
