BUYERS BEWARE!! Iam a disabled Air Force Veteran who has no family or friends in this area. My…read moresister purchased my car for me on September 13th from this man who is an hour away from me. This 2011 Honda Accord was beautiful on the outside, and that's it. The day I got it, I could hear something was off about the way it sounded starting up. I took the car to get a Multi-vehicle inspection, at a reputable car shop. They found so many things wrong with this vehicle. It had been in a completely devastating crash at least once. The mechanic told me he hoped I had not purchased the vehicle already. They told me I needed a starter, serious tune-up, spark plugs, rotors, brake pads, tires, brake light (they don't work), the air bag lights are on. On top of that, the transmission fuel and oil were empty. I relayed all this to Patrick as soon as I got this information. This man told me that he would help but it isn't much he can do since he already took $1800 off the buying price. I hadn't even driven the car but to two places before this diagnostic test. Fast forward to getting off of work. I tried starting my car not once but two times and it didn't want to start. It was at this point I knew something was severely wrong. It took forever, but it finally started. When it came on, the engine light was now on. As soon as I tried to get onto the interstate and accelerate to the speed limit of 75/80 my car began jerking and slowing down to 40 miles per hour. It began sputtering and not acting right at all. I immediately contacted Patrick and he told me he would help and to take it to the shop. I contacted back the shop I had went to and they told me the estimate is $1667 for parts and labor. I told Patrick immediately. He told me that he didn't have that but would give me half to fix it. It took me almost 2 hours to get home when it should have only taken an hour. I waited for him to follow through on his word. He never did. Not only that, he stopped responding, and ultimately blocked me. This supposed man of integrity is nothing more than a fraud. Once you give your hard earned money to him, anything after that doesn't matter. He takes advantage of anyone who is not his personal friend even if they are disabled, veterans, students, or female. Please spare yourself from the hassle and heartache of dealing with him and this place. Karma is something else, but my God is even greater.

Customers beware of that fake smile and smooth words! As Madea's brother Joe would say, "DON"T DOOO…read moreIT! DON"T BUY THE CARS FROM PAT BROWN" This is the exact car in the picture was a gift to my daughter who is a disabled veteran , from another family member who purchased it for her while visiting Louisiana. Yeah, this is the shined up shell of this 2011 Honda Accord that he sold for $9200 on September 12, 2022 that broke down on the side of the highway on September 17th as my daughter drove from work. But before that, after the car was bought for her, my daughter who lives in Texas, took it straight to a mechanic to get it Multi-Point Vehicle Inspection. After a thorough check, the mechanic said to her "I hope you didn't buy this yet, because it's not gonna pass an inspection!" Brake lights were not working. Airbag light stays on. Front pads and rotors need to be replaced since there is less than 10% friction material remaining. And the BIGGEST surprise? Wait for it...the car had been in a wreck and REPAINTED! So what did my daughter do? She texted Mr. Brown and told him everything the mechanic said. He had the audacity to say that it was normal wear and tear and not anything major. When she asked why there wasn't an inspection sticker on the vehicle, he ignored her. When she asked again, he made some statement like, "We're past all that." Then he told her that if she was in Shreveport, he would have helped her get it fixed, but that he had already taken $1,800 the original price. So since he sold her the shiny busted up car at a discount, he would help a little. He said that wayyyy back on the day she received it. Five days later, my daughter tried to drive it to her new job. When she headed home from work, she had to fight to start the car. Then when she did get it started, it made this sound that sounded like the engine wanted to fall out. She called Mr. Brown again to see if she could bring the vehicle back to him and his lot in Louisiana, so he could fix the issues, since we did not pay $9200 for a car that isn't safe to drive. He didn't answer or return her call. Even the family member who bought the car who lives in California, called him a few times and he has not returned her calls either. So my daughter texted him. Then I called him and left a detailed message asking him to return our calls. He didn't. Then I called again a few hours later. He answered talking about he was sleep. Pat Brown of Make Buying A Car Easy hee-hawed all around the fact that the car was a not inspected and had all these major issues. I explained how the vehicle was now doing other things, and my daughter was on the side of the highway. He said that maybe she shouldn't be driving the car. Uhhhh, No Duhhh, Sherlock!! Pat Brown made all kind of excuses about how cars do certain things, and he didn't know the car was wrecked or painted, and how he was visiting his mom in the nursing home, and all kind of excuses. So I tried to show some understanding, because Mom is important! But that was on the 26th and 27th that I left messages. He asked for an estimate from the mechanic. The shop quoted $1700 to fix it to pass inspection. He told my daughter that he would pay half to fix the car from Pat Brown Makes Buying A Car Easy, that she had driven only two times before it broke down, because he didn't want nothin to come back on his name since he had only been in business for 3 years. He said SHE had to pay the rest. When we asked him WHY in the world we would have to pay ANYTHING, when he already had $9,200 from the family member, SITTING in his wallet for a car that's now SITTING undrivable in the parking lot. He had nothing to say. My last question for him was "Since the car is in such good shape as you say, and safe to drive, Mr. Brown, why don't you buy it back from my daughter?" He had the audacity again to say, "Let me get back with you in a few minutes." That few minutes has turned into a week now. He's posting all kinds of stuff o FB, but he conveniently forgot to call my daughter back, and explain what he is going to do to make sure she gets her $9200 worth out of this car. So PEOPLE DON"T TRUST THIS MAN. He does Women Veterans wrong...DISABLED veterans at that. So if he would do that to a Disabled Woman Veteran, Pat Brown will cheat and scam anyone else. So now my daughter has been at her new job for 5 days, but has only been able to drive her "car" from Pat Brown Makes Buying A Car Easy to work once, and then crawl home with emergency blinkers on to park it in the lot while she waited to hear back from Pat Brown. She now has to depend on others for a ride to work from Arkansas to Texas. He has her $9200 and my Disabled Veteran daughter has a a car she can not drive safely, that was purchased just 17 days ago!!! That's not right. Oh, and buy the way, I have proof of everything I said. Technology is wonderful!
