The whole procedure took less than 30 minutes from the time I was out under general anesthesia to when I woke up. Very little pain and very little bleeding. I recieved 7 stiches to my lip and 3 to my hand. Within 3 days my lip became necrotic. I saw my PCP on day 4 and her IMMEDIATE reaction was that I needed to see a surgeon THAT DAY!! No one was available on Day 5 Dr.Russ examined me.... cut out the necrotic tissue on my lip and performed the MOST AMAZING reconstruction surgery!! He claimed he wasn't a plastic surgeon but his work was AMAZING. After following his treatment plan as instructed... when I came back 3 days later for my post-op visit. He was thrilled that the wound looked 1000% better and so was I !!! On day 10 he removed the sutures he placed and OMG!!! The deformity that I anticipated having was NO LONGER an issue because his work was ABSOLUTLEY AMAZING leaving only a hairline scar!!! His team and office staff were also AMAZING and very empathtic to my situation from the first day that I entered the office!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! Thoroughly unhappy with my experience at this dental practice…read more 1. I felt like I was on I conveyor belt, rather than a patient much less a human being. 2. Nothing was properly explained to me, no care plan was presented to me with costs. I was bombarded by numbers and means by which the practice could extract dollars out of my wallet and my available annual dental benefit. 3. A partial was produced same day to help me get through an interview the following day. The first number was $275, once the practice manager had done her magic, it was $395. 4. Dr. Smith fitted the partial at 4:30 PM, but did not explain anything with regards to the care of the partial other than putting in a denture bath when not in use. 5. I was promised a call with regards to presentation of a care plan and a number of options based on that care plan. More importantly they could not tell me how much anything was and four days later I still did not have any idea of costs or what the care plan approach was. This lack of transparency made me feel very unhappy and uncomfortable with continuing my treatment with this practice. This dental practice seems to be very busy and no one seems to have any time for patient care, there is more emphasis on what insurance you have and how you are going to pay for your visit. The practice manager was rude and discourtesies, I would strongly caution use of this Dental practice as nida the doctor know his stuff are engaged in patient care more about extraction of money.

I came in with pain level 8/10 and high anxiety. However, Dr. Ivers was very informative, detailed, and professional. I asked if I should go ahead and get all four of my wisdom teeth out but because I chose to do local anesthesia instead of IV sedation, he recommended that I just get the two bottoms out first then come back for the others. The whole experience was very painless and quick! The local anesthesia if anything was the hard part. He was done with my wisdom teeth removal in less than 2 mins! I had prepared to settle in for a long wait so I had my coffee, my own magazines, a book, my iPad, water and a snack. With the comfy chair all I needed was a fireplace and I would be at home. Lol. The staff was excellent. I can't say enough how inviting, friendly, attentive and knowledgeable the staff was. All of them. How they explained HIPPA to my friend and procedure that would be performed was of patience and understanding. They explained insurance in layman's terms and didn't mind repeating to make sure we understood everything. I was impressed that I was allowed back with him on initial to go over the X-rays and while Dr Meekins explained everything. He answered my questions as well as my friends and explained exactly what he needed to do to follow up afterwards. The room was like the office very comfortable. Dr Meekins has a wonderful personality and great bedside manner. Extremely knowledgeable and doesn't mind explaining things. If I didn't already love my dentist I would definitely come here for service. This is one dentist office that I felt very relaxed and comfortable in. The whole ambiance was like that. After extraction I visit my regular dentist who had received a letter from the Center for Oral & Facial Surgery of Memphis stating the extraction had been completed and a follow up had been scheduled. I was never scheduled for a follow. The letter to my dentist wasn't honest. Guess it's about the money.

This dentist didn't charge me anything for his visits because of what had happened with the other dentist. He just wanted to help me. But the worst part about the whole situation was Dr. Blumenthal nor his staff ever called to check on me when I stopped going.
