Now if that wasn't enough to make him awesome he's actually a big fan of Veterans and he's really excellent at being a dentist but even more than that he's a considerate person who explains everything in layman terms with analogies and actually listens to his parents. I say that makes him one of the truly good ones, and my wife has been his patient for some time now and she's a big fan and her dental health has never been better. I got some extensive exams and workups done but unfortunately, it was not completed before moving. From the minute you arrive until you leave, you are met with kindness, understanding, engagement, and just stellar service overall. You can tell that Dr. Damron was purposeful and thoughtful as to whom he chose to be part of the staff- no matter their role. Every person seems to fit so well with their company culture. Even the front desk personnel are a delight. Take a moment to talk to them, especially Tiffany. Now let's talk about the dental experience. I always have a terrific experience with the hygienist, Michelle. Every time I have an appointment, I feel like I'm catching up with an old friend who happens to clean my teeth. Dr. Damron is a very patient, understanding, reassuring, and a kind dentist. I've had several different services and have never had any issues. He always seems to go out of his way to make sure I'm comfortable and I've never been in any pain. Believe it or not- I've even had a minor filling done with no numbing or anything! Dr. Damron explained how shallow the filling was and reassured me that I'd feel nothing. I was a bit hesitant at first, but I appreciated that he felt like I didn't need an unnecessary shot... so I agreed. And guess what?! I felt nothing! Oh and if you ever find yourself nervous during a procedure- or even a cleaning, ask if you can wear an X-ray apron. It's got some weight to it and someone who worked there suggested it before because it's almost like a weighted calming blanket. Rest assured this practice and its staff care about you as a person and as a patient. They do not try to offer unnecessary services and they also are good about presenting alternatives. Seriously. I am giving detail, because billing confrontations seem to be a common theme on the negative…read morereviews. Billing staff is confrontational and rude. I questioned an estimate that didn't align with my insurance benefits and they kept explaining to me why they were correct rather than having a conversation. After I requested it, they reluctantly agreed to a preauth. They were about $60 off and I was about $2 off from what the preauth came back as. They never contacted me with the information had to get it from Aetna. This didn't surprise me, as they made a whole production and were wrong. I sent a letter to the dentist asking if he wanted me to come back or not, because I did not want trouble at the office. What I received back was a noncommittal letter back that billing is hard and some other nonsense that didn't address the question. At this point I had no intention of going back. On august 8, I received the letter I had expected, terminating the relationship. They are required by law to send this, so it was totally fine. I actually already went to a different dentist. However it is worth sharing that the letter said, there were a couple of instances where I complained about my coverage and have complained about their fee. To be clear, I had only been once before, for a cleaning, which was mostly covered, outside of a few dollars. Also, I didn't think their fees were unreasonable, they were pretty normal for an out of network dentist. Finally, I don't know why on earth I would "complain about my coverage" to a provider? The provider has nothing to do with that. This simply didn't happen. Bottom line, they are angry about a negative review without wanting to take ownership of how and why it happened. The main thing for me, (and this is more for the business, because I know they read these,) is my review are the facts of my experience. If I am being untruthful, you have recourse, but I'm not, and we both know that. It is disappointing to have you try and pass accountability. I do have a couple of suggestions. If you are concerned with the quality of the reviews you receive, use them as an opportunity to improve. Alternatively, if it bothers you that much to have a customer describe their experience, turn off reviews. I would have been happy to remove it if someone would have called to have a discussion, but that isn't how you chose to handle it. Hope this review helps anyone who reads.

I asked several times should I expect any pain. The following week, I called about the sharp pains from the root canal that traveled to my ear. I went back in and she asked to pull the tooth. I declined based on no plan of action taken. I can't sleep still after two weeks with severe pain all through the day. It has affected everyday life since the procedure. Can't lay back or down on a pillow.
