I set an…read moreappointment to get my teeth cleaned as a NEW patient (new to area/in network provider for general dentistry) with an initial evaluation, some x-rays -ALL confirmed fully covered by my insurance company. My experience was ridiculous . I spent 30 minutes of them taking some x-rays and a doctor coming and talking to me about how my bite needed to be fixed, teeth recession, poking on my gum line with a sharp instrument -now red & inflamed. He made multiple recommendations for stuff over the next few years. They said they do not clean teeth day 1. Once I proceeded to the front desk to schedule 1 of my 2 annual cleanings. I was taken into a back office to discuss my next visit and fees. As if I was buying a car or trying to negotiate some type of private contract, it was very odd. They told me come back for SPECIAL Cleaning 1st to pay out of pocket before I can use routine cleaning the insurance would cover. Interesting they could look in my dirty mouth and say I had no cavities, and I just had my teeth cleaned eight months ago. I ate my breakfast and my lunch and I'm sure I had stuff on my teeth. Hence, the reason you go and get your teeth cleaned to then get a treatment plan. I was dumbfounded to find out they will not do a routine cleaning unless I pay $100 minimum special cleaning plus other fees to become a new patient and get cleaning, and service for another appointment. Once I left their office, I called my insurance company to give them billing codes. Apparently these are periodontist codes for somebody who typically has gingivitis and it's not a normal practice for a 1st visit, and without a cleaning at all to view teeth. Needless to say I will not be back to their office. Sounds like they are just wanting to collect money to proceed with doing anything and then I'm sure they're going to find fimore things that they will bill you for. Their approach was awful and as a matter of fact the insurance company said they never heard that somebody goes to a dentist and they don't routine clean your teeth before they make all of these recommendations. No wonder after reading multiple reviews I see others have the same issue. It's Sketchy!!!!

The dentist rushed into the room, spent maybe 15 minutes total on the procedure, and rushed right out. Immediately after, the tooth was rough, unpolished, and extremely sensitive--like it was hollow inside. I came back to have it corrected, and instead of taking responsibility, they told me I'd have to pay again before being seen. When I calmly explained that I wasn't paying for a fix to their own incomplete work, the staff started treating me like I was the problem. The dentist himself even came into the room aggressively, saying, "If you have an issue with me, say it to my face." I've never experienced anything so unprofessional or intimidating in a medical setting. On top of that, during a previous cleaning, I had expressed nervousness about a chipped tooth that my mom had advised me not to aggravate. The hygienist actually mocked me for saying that, sarcastically asking what my mom's profession was that she "knew better than a hygienist." That kind of condescending tone has no place in healthcare. Between the rushed work, the poor treatment, and the lack of professionalism, I wouldn't recommend this office to anyone. Patients deserve to be treated with respect and care--not rushed, mocked, or made to feel intimidated for asking valid questions about their health.
