John's office handles both of my business and personal accounting matters from bookkeeping, payroll, corporate, personal tax returns and l couldn't be happier. Their fees are reasonable and always there when I needed accounting help. Prior coming to John, my former accountant made a mistake on my prior year return and John caught the mistake and suggested that we file an amended return and I was able to recover $30,000 in federal refunds. That money would have not been recovered if I had not switch my accounting services to John. I also highly recommend John as his office is ONE STOP service, John is also a licensed real estate broker, he helped me with financing and refinancing my house and rental property. John also have helped me with my property tax appeals since the property value have plummeted due to recession to save some money on my house. John is also a registered investment adviser at anytime I have questions regarding my retirements funds John is always there to explain the tax advantages and what is suitable for me. I moved my Accounting over to John earlier this year, and I also moved my bookkeeping over to Cathy on John's team. I was referred to them by a business partner of mine, and I am so grateful he referred them to me! They are both so "on it." John is the smartest accountant I have ever met, and he gives me amazing tax guidance. He also is a great person who truly cares about my success. He makes himself available to speak with me when I need to have a call even though I know he has a very full schedule. He is also constantly showing me accounting opportunities for improvement that I never knew of before that save me alot of money. So grateful to have him as my accountant! And Cathy is a gem. She is far more on top of my books than any of my previous bookkeepers, and is doing a great job of finding and cleaning up any issues. Don't believe the reviews - worst CPA ever. I've worked in a leadership capacity for fortune 500 companies, and John Weldon CPA is by far the worst Accountant and bookkeeping team I have come across. Given the positive reviews, I was hopeful, but that shortly turned to massive disappointment at the very expensive while slow and unresponsive service. I had to email consistently for an update, and after paying over $4k across my businesses, after I said I was terminating his service, John Weldon CPA got nasty and would not give me a copy of my QuickBooks file, and that it was his property. I stated I would gladly spend the monthly QuickBooks fee to have avoided such an issue. John Weldon CPA appeared to be retaliating for leaving his firm, causing issues for my small consulting business. Avoid at all costs. read more

My husband and I made an appointment to see Mr. Weldon to ask some basic tax questions and to see whether we needed an accountant to help us with our finances or not. The office is in a nice building and Mr. Weldon's staff is very friendly. They offered us coffee or water as soon as we came in and chatted with us until our appointment time. Mr. Weldon was polite, professional, and knowledgeable. He answered our questions and explained things clearly. We also appreciated his honesty. He could have talked us into using his services, but he told us how we could do things on our own instead.
