I have never felt rushed during any appointment. The entire staff has been professional, knowledgeable. I will continue to have Cook Family Practice as my primary healthcare proider.

I have been taking my husband and ex-husband, whom I care for, to Cooks. We really enjoy Karrie,…read morehowever, their front office person is not a pleasant person. We also just learned Karrie is leaving, so there is that. We are always asked to confirm the appointment and all our insurance, address, etc, before arriving online. Then, when you arrive, the front desk lady, who is extremely rude, asks you to confirm the same information you had already confirmed. When I say I have already confirmed as requested, she states I have to ask these questions to everyone. Because I was not happy with her asking again, and she knew it, she was all pissy. Hire someone who isn't a family member, and you might actually have a quality front office professional who is a friendly customer service person, instead of a robot. In addition, I was trying to get my ex approved for assistance with Novo Nordisk Assistance program because he can't afford $250/month to assist with the cost of medication. All I needed, or I should say Novo Nordisk needed, was a good email so they could send the application for Cooks to complete. I am also dealing with bad Vertigo, which I explained. Do you think they helped? No, instead they sent us a letter canceling my husband and ex-husband as patients, because I couldn't understand why an email couldn't be provided. The funny thing is, I had already started them at a new primary care. Great place if you need nothing from them, can't even provide a good company email, or assist with getting assistance. Do yourself a favor and don't bother unless you like a rude office.

I recently relocated to Kingman, and after a very frustrating 5 months of trying out PCP's and…read morefinding either them lacking, I decided to try out the KRMC Resident Clinic. My experience has been 180 degrees opposite of the other reviewers. I've seen two different resident doctors, both were in my opinion, top notch. Compared to my previous experiences, these people are well organized and competent. As an example, at my last PCP office, I gave them my list of prescription medications that I'm currently taking, and asked for it to be put on file at the Walmart pharmacy, so when the came for a refill, I would be setup to request on at Walmart. Now, I don't know which end the screw up took place, but a few days after my first appointment with the PCP, Walmart sent me an mail saying my refills were ready for pickup. Walmart had refilled every medication on the list sent to them. At the pharmacy, I told the that I didn't want or need at that time, and I only asjed the OCO to put them on file so I could get refills when need at later dates. But talking to the pharmacy counter person was like talking to a brick wall, so I just took the refills. Next, I needed to have my A1C blood test done. The Dr.'s office drew blood sent it to the lab and the lab rejected because it was submitted in the wrong type vial. I had a followup appointment with the Dr. to review the results... I was never contacted by the Dr. office about test not being done, and only found out about when I should up for my appointment to review the results. Another blood sample was drawn and sent to the lab, and it to was rejected, this time due to the Dr. office not supplying a valid provider number. So.... back to the Dr. Office for a third blood draw. It goes off the lab, which rejected it for a third time for reasons I didn't understand. That's when I said "enough!!" and a search for a new PCP ending up with me going to the KRMC Resident Clinic. I finally got my A1C blood test done (on the first try), and I'm pleased with the care that I've received since I switched to them back in January 2026.

I would steer clear of this Medical establishment. My Family Nurse Practitioner (Dyanne M…read more Hernandez) has proven to be unethical and clearly not interested in taking any interest in my health care needs. The Kingman Regional Medical Center also employs a director of Risk Management named Stefani Neary, also a corrupt, unethethical employee. I previously contacted the CEO - Heath Evans, who refused to assist me with a complaint - another worthless employee at KRMC. I did report Dyanne M. Hernandez, FNP to the Arizona State Board of Nursing on May 01, 2026. As of today (June 15, 2026), I have not heard any update on my complaint.
