After talking to his provider and several other companies I met with Jennifer at Natural Results. The first consultation I had with her, I could tell she was a medical provider that was different from all the previous ones I had spoken with. She took the time to inspect the physical scarring and also listen to the emotional impact it had over my adult life. Most of the other providers came across very clinical and in a hurry to their next appointment. I could tell she has a compassion and caring for her patients that went above and beyond the clinical aspects. She did a Morpheus8 microneedling procedure that went well. However, she suggested I would be better served given the severity of my acne scars to consider the UltraClear laser instead. That is something I had never thought of and given my lack of knowledge I was somewhat reluctant. I felt laser would be a much more painful procedure with a bigger risk factor for something to go wrong. Jennifer took the time to explain everything to me and let me know that it's important that I feel comfortable with the UltraClear treatment. Being an IT engineer I did a lot of research and asked her a lot of questions which she was always willing to answer. I've had a couple UltraClear procedures and the pain was a lot less than I expected and I was surprised by the short time for recovery. She was always making sure I was comfortable during my procedures and followed up several times during the week after to make sure I was doing well. Soon after revision surgery, the nodules started appearing again. I was then repeatedly told by Michelle that it must be thyroid-related causes. After seeking another revision from a highly experienced double board-certified plastic surgeon & ENT down the street, I was informed that the nodules were full of pus and bacteria, located on/around the permanent sutures. I was also told that the nodule that was distanced lower than the rest, had a free-hanging suture that wasn't attached to anything. I was advised that what he found was consistent with infection related to the permanent internal sutures Michelle placed in me and could likely be due to the sutures being unsterile/compromised during surgery. This was an extremely painful and distressing experience that significantly impacted my quality of life for OVER a year. When I reached out to her office regarding this, I was met with denial, zero accountability and was warned multiple times in a threatening manner not to post about it online. I strongly encourage anyone considering cosmetic surgery to thoroughly research their provider and ensure they are board-certified in plastic surgery. Years ago, I underwent breast augmentation with Dr. Michelle and was initially satisfied with the results. However, in 2022, I returned for a breast reduction and, prior to surgery, inquired about a small amount of liposuction specifically for my knees. Unfortunately, the outcome was devastating. As the pictures show, significant fat was removed from my legs--far beyond what I requested--while the area I was concerned about (my knees) received minimal attention. This procedure has left me deeply TRAUMATIZED with my appearance, and I feel my body has been irreversibly altered. I'll also start this review by saying I'm probably one of the easiest patients any doctor will have to deal with - my friend is a plastic surgeon and have friends who are doctors that I can bother incessantly with questions instead of Dr. Admire. In regards to the procedure itself, I had a lip lift. I'll probably write a more in depth review about the actual procedure on Real Self since that's where most people go to look at results. That being said, unless my lip falls off or I somehow find out Dr. Admire likes to kick puppies in his free time, I don't see my five star review changing any time soon. First off, everyone I worked with was amazing. Brittany, the patient coordinator, who you'll start off with first, was great. She reminds me of me working with customers in sales - you can tell she's genuinely excited for you and believes in the work Dr. Admire does. I can see if you're from the East coast or are more reserved, this probably comes across as insincere or sales-y, but it's just how some of us are! For people upset that you work primarily with her and Ashley - I promise you that you don't want any doctor going over paperwork or the minutiae with you. Next, you'll meet with Dr. Admire. I didn't feel like he rushed me or was impatient with any questions I may have had. That being said, you're probably looking at a MAJOR procedure if you're meeting with him. I would expect that you've done some research in to the procedure itself and didn't just do this as a spur of a moment type of thing so I can see if you come in like a window shopper, the doctor may be less inclined to spend additional time with you. I had researched different surgeons, techniques, results, complications, recovery, cost (shout to Brittany for ripping that band aid off and telling me right away how much it would be!) and had been looking at doing this for years. I also chose Dr. Admire because I wanted someone I could trust to take all the artistic/creative liberties with my lips/face and look at the procedure objectively. Anyone who's had fillers knows you get some facial distortion and may overdo it. Not something you want with a permanent procedure. The procedure itself was as expected (again, do some research and read different people's experience and also listen to your doctor on what to expect). The surgery center staff was super nice and made me feel comfortable the entire time. I was off my ADHD meds for the day and nervous and they were patient (no pun intended) while I was kind of bouncing off the walls. Also, pro-tip for surgery: always ask for extra blankets. I think I forgot where exactly Ashley, the nurse that works with Dr. Admire, came in to play. But she's great. Also genuinely excited for you and helpful with answering any questions and walking you through what to expect. Both Ashley and Brittany took plenty of time to go over paperwork and pre-op and post-op instructions so you never feel like you don't know what the next step is going to be. The front office staff is super responsive and helpful as well. I had a small snafu with my prescription the doctor wrote for me and they solved it in literally 10 minutes and sent me a text follow-up since I was driving. I'm sure if I had questions directly for Brittany, Ashley or Dr. Admire that they would have been similarly responsive and helpful. Overall, couldn't have asked for a better experience! So happy I chose Dr. Admire for my lip lift! Also - I'm two weeks out and it looks amazing! P.S. Download the app they have! It took me a year to choose this surgeon and follow through with it, I thiught about trusting him for a year, and it has been the biggest mistake of my life. I went in for a deep plane face and neck lift. Against my better judgment, I allowed the surgeon to talk me into an eye lift and fat injections under my eyes--a procedure I was petrified of and had literal nightmares about. ​Three months later, I have been butchered. ​The Eyes: My left eye remains severely swollen and has not changed in two months. There is a deep, "black" discoloration under my eyes that $200 concealer cannot hide. I am forced to wear glasses 24/7 just to look my clients in the face because the results are so disturbing. ​Nerve Damage: My smile, which was my best feature, is completely gone. I have obvious nerve damage that has distorted my mouth. The way I talk, speech, and smile..yiu can tell I have the nerve damage by just talking to me...devastating. I could have accepted that on its own but my God..I was butchered. ​Visible Scarring: While one side is hidden (the side that i part my hair on so it would have been hidden anyways!!!), the other incision was made past my hairline and is completely visible. I also have a quarter-sized protrusion on my temple that looks like a massive cyst. ​Poor Results: For a "deep plane" lift, I still have 2-3 ripples of extra skin on my face and zero improvement in my neck. ​I took out a $14,000 loan for these produces plus 25k....no joke..39k!!! I had to pay for the scar cream and for additional bras. The scar cream was very expensive and you can actually find it online for less. Overall, I do recommend the breast reduction surgery and going with Dr. Daiza. I'm going to give her 5stars because she did an amazing job. I'm happy and have no regrets. Dr. LaBarBERa is very friendly, funny, assuring, and NOT snotty. I suspect he came from humble beginnings and/or went through some hard knocks. But I'll tell you who IS snotty are his Staff -- but that is true at ANY plastic surgeon's office. Often a plastic surgeon's staff member gets discounts on procedures on themselves. Therefore, they look fantastic and are a walking billboard for their plastic surgeon's office. Just ignore their snottiness. You are there to fix something about your body and at least you know that YOU won't suddenly get snotty afterward (unless you already WERE snotty -- I can't help you with that). Another common thing at most plastic surgeon's offices that you needn't concern yourself with, is the likely hanky panky that goes on between him and certain members of his staff. But I believe Dr. Labarbera is a Christian, so... Knows how to draw a straight line (a lot of surgeons DON'T even bother, it seems). It's very IMPORTANT to know how to draw a straight line -- no one wants a crooked scar. You can pay 10% down and freeze your quoted price for 12 months.* It's in the paperwork, but they rarely mention it for obvious reasons. I had an Extended Tummy Tuck, Abdominal Muscle Repair, and Lipo to the Flanks. He also repaired a Double Incisional Hernia WITHOUT MESH. I got the hernias due to an Appendectomy that was performed at Banner University Medical Center at McDowell & 11th St in Phoenix by a Colorectal Surgeon. The incision became infected, weakening my abdominal wall tissue, causing the incisional hernia. I needed this plastic surgery after my Gastric Sleeve because of loose skin from losing a lot of weight -- which I carried mostly in my lower belly. Dr. LaBarbera is an ARTIST. He does his surgeries in a way that will heal with an aesthetic result. A few years after losing 70 lbs with The Sleeve, the weight loss shots came out. During the in between time, I had the TT. The shots took off another 70 lbs, putting me at my Goal of 160. My Tummy Tuck by Dr. LaBarbera still looks beautiful. IOW, he did a good enough job that the results weren't marred by losing another 70 lbs. Dr. LaBarbera should really put his signature on the bottom right side of each surgery. A lot of Plastic Surgeons apparently used to work with the 4077th MASH. They perform their surgeries in a fast, rudimentary manner with crooked incisions and disappointing results that affect self esteem going forward. They put no thought into planning for an attractive result. He says he will do a free Revision (F needed) around the 1-Year Post Op mark, but realize that does NOT include the separate FEE that North Valley Surgery Center charges. They always bill for NVSC themselves, which simply means they collect the money at the plastic surgeon's office (then they give the money to NVSC). The part that's free is the plastic surgeon's own fee, which would be much more than the NVSC fee. I don't know if he is STILL maintaining 3 Locations. That's a lot of wasted gasoline flitting about the East Valley. That's 3 lease payments, 3 groups of Staff members, 3 phone systems, 3 computer systems, 3 sets of office furniture, exam tables, giant mirrors, 3 night cleaning crews, etc. SOMEBODY's gonna pay for all that -- and it won't be him. Always remember that with any plastic surgery performed by anyone, that if you see odd colors in your incision, swelling, redness, pain or fever, to go to a Wound Care Clinic ASAP to make an appointment. Every major hospital has one. Plastic Surgeons have an aversion to admitting an incision is not healing correctly. If you see yellow or black, it could be flesh eating bacteria. You could develop "tunneling" holes in your body. You could develop system-wide infection called Sepsis and die. Your actual intestines could breach the abdominal wall and incision. So EVEN IF your plastic surgeon says the area looks "normal" and is healing well -- if something looks off to YOU, take your arse to a Wound Care Clinic anyway.

He even has a special number for patients during after hours , that he personally answered the one evening i was not feeling well. Lastly , he made my husband feel very comfortable in the room during all my examinations, which could have been awkward. His great sense of dry humor put us both at ease.
