Do NOT use this place for online ordering - the flowers we got were not cheap - they were supposed to be filled with roses and gerber Daisy's. My mother received them with baby's breath and carnations! Blah! Hate them both and so does she!! I would never send either! The roses were way to open so they will last one day! Has this florist closed? My sister and her family live in Savannah and I've used John Wolf in the past. After making my selection online, their web sight would not allow me to add anything to my cart. Tried two different web browsers thinking that might be the problem. Called the 800 number and went straight into a survey to win a cruise with no option to exit the survey and never identified as JW florist. Scam? Called 912 number and call was clearly forwarded to what sounded like an overseas ring and no one answered. What's going on here? read more

Could not be more disappointed in this florist experience. Placed an order for my uncle's funeral (I am out of state and he lived in Savannah) and ordered an Areca palm to be sent. This had great symbolic significance for me, since he used to live where I am in Florida. Well, what they sent was what looked like a "houseplant" not a palm tree. After a week of phone calls back and forth with staff and the manager's secretary, I was still not able to talk directly with a manager or owner and was only given a $15 credit for this $80 incorrect order. Staff should have let me know if they couldn't get the palm so I could choose something else, or refund my money entirely. Absolutely not acceptable. read more

I ordered flowers for a funeral of a member of our organization. The flowers was not the problem. I contact this florist the following Monday after funeral, to get a copy of the invoice sent to my home e-mail and was told it was not a problem. I gave my e-mail address to whomever I talked to that day. As of today I haven't gotten a copy of the invoice/bill. Got my receipt yesterday 12/5/17. My issue was cleared up and I'm satisfied. read more

I would not recommend. What I ordered online for $155 looked like maybe half that. They did call because few of the flowers of the arrangement online were not available so they "tweaked" it. It looked so cheap. read more

Happy to find a florist that can deliver to the small town of Ludowici, Georgia. I purchased my flowers and they delivered on the day that it was scheduled. The flower arrangement was not what I ordered. So, I was bit disappointed, but overall the design and flowers were great and will give them 4 stars. The delivery driver was even nice enough to redeliver the order to my mothers address, since the system could not recognize her address. Kudos to the delivery driver. Thank you so much! read more

You continue to try and silence me, but I am going to make sure my retail voice is heard. I have no idea how you got Yelp to delete my reviews, because they were the truth and directly related to the manner in which you run your business. I unfortunately made a call to your florist, which I had done many times before, to order an arrangement for my mother in law. The employee that took the call was extremely inept, even though I was explicit in my instruction as to what I wanted to send, which was an arrangement off YOUR website. I could not have been more patient & KIND. MOMENTS after I placed my order, the OWNER called me and literally said this, "What can I do for you? (VERY RUDELY). I repeated my order, in which I was met with more rudeness, which I was absolutely blindsided by. I had no earthly idea what I had done. After more of hateful conversation by the owner, I said, "I'm calling another florist ", and I ended the call. As a gift shop owner, I am going to post this review because it's the right thing to do. I cannot even IMAGINE speaking to a customer in that manner. This is the THIRD time I'm attempting to make my story known. Be warned. read more

Not what I ordered. Apparently it says online somewhere that they may substitute any flowers. They said that many of the flowers in their pictures are not available. So even if you pick exactly what you want to send and pay over $100 for a very colorful basket of flowers, you may get a basket with only 1 color in it. When I called, they said those were their only blooming flowers and my only option was to get greenery instead. read more

I used John Wolf for my wedding flowers and was very impressed with the end result. They were great in helping me figure out what I wanted and then tailoring that to my budget. All the flowers were delivered right on time and they looked gorgeous. I received a bouquet that was ordered from 1-800-flowers and filled by John Wolf Florist Tuesday Feb 3. It was beautiful- just gorgeous... I've never had an arrangement delivered to work that looked this healthy. Flowers were a mix of tulips, Gerber daisies and roses and were colored bright yellow, pink, and some purple swigs too. Best part is that they are still vibrant and healthy an entire week later. Everyone that passes my desk comments on them. I keep the florist's card visible as I would use them again in a heartbeat. read more

I will not use then again. I went to the trouble to look up a florist close to my sister's house. I called them direct on their 912 area code number, not a toll free line. Why should I be charged a wire fee? Also the plant was supposed to be in a white ceramic pot and it was not. read more

My family received two different sets of bouquets from this florist (ordered via 1-800-Flowers). Received both the day before thanksgiving. The 'wild flowers' bouquet was delightful and smelled fresh but as for the pink roses with Calla Lillies arrangement it was awful! Lasted less than 48 hours, roses were mushy and smelled of vinegar, obviously frozen, but all the Calla Lillies except for two have held up nicely. I complained to 800-Flowers who initially were going to have the rose/lilly bouquet resent but I refused, if it happened once, it'll happen a second time. Disappointing that a $70+ bouquet had to be refunded for frozen flowers. If I order from John Wolfe Florist I'd only purchase a 'wild flowers' type bouquet. read more

My daughter ordered flowers to be delivered to me. I stayed home and waited for delivery. Driver called and said I was not home. Interestingly that was late afternoon. My daughter called her back within 30 seconds. No answer. Called office, they said they would try to get her. Nothing. Her voice mail was not set up and she did not answer a text. I assure you, no one came to my house to deliver flowers. I want my daughter to receive a credit! Who wants old flowers! read more

I went into to this florist because it was highly recommended, however once i arrived and requested my mother in laws funeral arrangement which i found on their website they informed me that they could not accommodate me. Why would they have things on their website that they are not able to provide? The girl at the front desk was less than nice and difficult so i left and went with another florist. I was paying over 200 dollars for this arrangement you would think they could have been more helpful. read more
