Definitely not up to code then charged $160/$180 to splice a refrigerator cord and wrapped in black electrical tape. We called last week and they said they would come replace it. We'll today they came with a cord to short and was being very unprofessional and talking down towards to my brother n law who has a head injury. My daughter was hear and over heard them and told them to leave because they were treating him like he was stupid.. which he's not. I got back and found out what had happened and called and asked to speak to a manager which I was given the run around and finally told a manger was not in the store and they'd have him call me back. Well they are closed now and I never received a call back. Our family has bought all of our appliances through them. We will never buy another item from them again not with the way they treat and take advantage the elderly and handicapped which have bought every appliance from them since they opened their store. Never again and I will be up there tomorrow to handle this matter since a manger can't return my call.

He easily could have cheated me out of a large bill, but I paid the small fee to have it looked at & went home with a dryer that has never given me trouble since.

We had Bernie's Appliance at our house for a washer repair. First the parts sent were not the…read morecorrect parts according to Bernie, this is what warranty automatically will send(why would the warranty company send 2 parts without even knowing) then another part was ordered and another appointment set up. They ended up showing up at my house the day before my appointment and then reported it to my warranty place that nobody was home. When in fact, my appointment was the next day. The next day showed up they never showed up. When they would show up, they could never seem to get to my house much before 6 to 7 PM. When we finally got the correct part and Bernie showed up to put part, in I'm sitting in my living room and under his breath I can hear him swearing obviously things weren't going well for him. Then after he leaves, I get a text from him that says ma'am you need to call there's a problem with your warranty so I I said what's the problem he said warranty says that you said we never showed up for our appointment I said well you did today, but you didn't yesterday when I had an appointment. well when they call you or if they call you, please tell them I showed up. I will never recommend Bernie's to anybody friend or not a friend and the next time I need work done it will not be Bernie's.
